Listan Negro was born on the Canary Islands. It is si a natural crossing between Listan Blanco and Negramoll. It is farmed sustainably and no synthetic chemicals that are used. Sourced from old vineyards on the Northern side of the Island. The young sandy soils allow for the vines to be planted ungrafted. The winemaking is simple, stainless steel fermentaion with native yeasts and then the wine is aged for a short period in old French oak barrels. Aromatic and complex with layers of dark fruits, spice, herbs and a subtle smokiness.

92 points Descorchados : "This rosé comes from century-old país vineyards plus grenache (40%) and mourvèdre (30%) grafted on old país vines, all mixed in the same vineyard. The grapes were whole-cluster pressed and co-fermented to give this refreshing and lively red fruit juice. The palate is tense and rich in acidity with the firm tannins of a serious rosé. One to drink glass after glass." (01/2023) K&L Notes: Longavi is a collaboration between Chilean winemaker Julio Bouchon (Bouchon family wines) and South African winemaker David Nieuwoudt (Cederber...

92 points Burghound: "Note: from young vines of around 15 years of age. Here too the nose is distinctly floral in character with equally cool and pure aromas of the essence of red currant, cherry and a whiff of forest floor. Once again there is really lovely texture to the muscular bigger-bodied flavors that conclude in a serious, compact and mildly austere finish. This won't win any awards for refinement, but elegance isn't why one buys Vercots. Moreover, Vercots is always better in cooler vintages and 2021 proves that point. *Burghound Sweet Spot Outst...

92 points James Halliday: "A blend of 50/35/15% merlot/cabernet/shiraz fermented and matured in stainless steel. A medium salmon/amber colour. Always good and fairly priced, the 2021 delivers aromas of strawberries and cream together with a little Provençal garrigue. The palate is dry and refreshing and I like the way this tapers into a gently structured finish. A sophisticated crowd-pleaser. " (08/2022) K&L Notes: Composed of 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvingnon and 10% Shiraz.
