The terroir-centric producer Albert Boxler devotes much time, love, and care into producing each vintage of their Crémant d'Alsace. This sparkling wine is made in the labor-intensive traditional method from a blend of Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois, and Pinot Noir. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the juice is racked by gravity into tank. Bottles are hand-rotated in the cellar and spend 24-30 months aging on the lees. It is very dry in style and consistently one of Alsace's best Crémants.

Elisabeth and Jean-Marie only made 400 of these magnums, and we only got 12 of them! It is all Chardonnay, half from Elisabeth's best plot in Ay and half Louvois from Jean-Marie's best plot.
