Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Cantemerle, Haut-Médoc (92JS, (87-90ST), (87-90VN)). James Suckling: "This red shows some cassis, blueberries and floral notes on the nose. Some tar, too. Medium to full body, juicy tannins and a fruity finish. Enticing wine. Drink now or hold." (02/2015)
Starting Bid: $101.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Musigny Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes (98RP, 97BH, 97JG, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted blind at the annual "Burgfest" tasting in Beaune. The 2012 Musigny Vielles Vignes Grand Cru from de Vogüé has slightly brighter and more vivacious fruit than J-F Mugnier, and in fact, the two wines seem to go in two different trajectories in the glass, this blossoming and the other becoming more occluded. De Vogüé's Musigny is unashamedly floral in style, very elegant and yet delineated. There is a noticeable estuary scents, mudflats and seaweed, that begin to permeate the fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannin, wonderful acidity and succinctly integrated new oak that is barely tangible. It is intense but elegant, long and tender in the mouth. It is a fabulous Musigny, one of the best that the domaine has produced in recent years. (NM)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $516.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 DuMol Russian River Valley Syrah ((93-95VN), 94RP, 94WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Syrah presents a compelling range of black fruit, smoke, incense, tobacco, licorice and savory herbs. A rich, powerful wine, the 2012 hits the palate with stunning depth and richness. The style here is a bit riper and more immediate than the single-vineyard Syrahs. There is plenty of personality in the glass. What a gorgeous and promising wine this is. (AG)" (02/2014)
Starting Bid: $40.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Malartic-Lagravière, Pessac-Léognan (94RP, 94WE, 93VN, 92DC, 92JS, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This large estate of 131 acres has been run brilliantly by a Belgian family, the Bonnies since their acquisition a number of years ago. The quality of the white and red have soared to exceptional heights, and this is certainly still one of the more realistically priced wines of Pessac-Lèognan and classified crus. The 2012 is a beauty, with a dense ruby/purple color, a fabulously plush, opulent texture and medium to full-bodied flavors of cassis, spicy earth and blueberry. Quite rich, yet light on its feet, this is an absolutely textbook Pessac-Lèognan, with wonderfully velvety tannins. Drink it now, or drink it in 25 years. This is a brilliant wine. (RP)" (04/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Pott Wine "The Arsenal - Greer Vineyard" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN, 95RP, 92WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon The Arsenal is a real stunner. All the elements fall into place effortlessly. Mocha, sweet herbs and new leather are laced together in a dramatic wine that brings together voluptuous texture, structure and pure power. The vivid, racy finish is a thing of beauty. This is a fabulous showing from Aaron Pott. (AG)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $121.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Montrose, St-Estèphe (95WE, 94DC, 94JS, 93RP, 93VN, 92JD, 92WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Produced in the magnificent new cellars at Montrose, this big, tannic wine is powerful and concentrated. It has something of the classic severity of a wine from this estate, but that’s mitigated by the ripe, generous blackberry fruitiness and the final freshness of a 2012. A great success. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (05/2015)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Donelan "Cuvée Keltie" Sonoma County Syrah (99RP, 97JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Syrah Cuvée Keltie is a selection of choice blocks of vineyards they work, such as the Obsidian, Walker Vine Hill, Richard’s, Steiner Ranch. It’s meant to be their crème de la crème offering, and this wine’s score suggests that they succeeded. 100% Syrah aged 20 months in neutral French oak, it tips the scales at 14.7% natural alcohol. An opaque purple color offers up notes of pen ink, white chocolate, charcuterie, lavender, blackberry and pepper aromas. Very full-bodied with a multidimensional mouthfeel, layers of fruit, glycerin and intensity, this is stunning stuff and a candidate for perfection with more bottle age. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98VN, 96JS, 96RP, 94DC, 94WS, 93W&S) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2012 Monte Bello is one of the most harmonious young Monte Bellos I can remember tasting. Seamless and voluptuous through to the finish, the 2012 is showing beautifully today. Raspberry jam, pomegranate, white flowers, mint and spices are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. A wine with a distinctly red-hued profile, silky tannins, no hard edges and exceptional overall balance, the 2012 Monte Bello is simply magnificent. The 2012 is racy but also impeccably balanced throughout, with shades of the 2001 that come through from time to time. I won't be surprised if the 2013 and 2014 both eventually surpass it, but there is no denying that the 2012 is simply stunning today. This is one of the best showings yet for the 2012. (AG)" (07/2015)

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 6" Central Coast Red Blend (1.5L) (99RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine that flirts with perfection, the 2012 Cumulus Vineyard #6 is an interesting blend of 38% Syrah, 37% Grenache, 17.4% Petite Sirah and the rest Mourvedre that saw 33 months in 54% new French oak. There’s a tiny 191 cases made, and it’s one of the most singular, exotic wines I’ve tasted. Spice, cedar, chocolate, exotic flowers and an assortment of dark fruits all emerge from this full-bodied, layered blend that hits the palate with serious richness and depth. Yet, like all truly great wines, it’s light, ethereal and never, ever heavy. There’s big structure here as well, so forget bottles for 3-4 years and enjoy over the following 15+ years. (JD)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $475.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (97JD, 97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard, which comes primarily from the Calera clone (although I suspect there are a few mystery clones in their plantings), always seems to remind me of a grand cru from Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, particularly Morey-St.-Denis. Dense ruby/plum, its sweet nose of strawberries, black cherry liqueur, fresh porcini mushrooms and forest floor is followed by a dark, full-bodied, rich and concentrated wine that is supple, dramatic, and even flamboyant. (RP)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Leeuwin "Art Series" Cabernet Sauvignon Margaret River Western Australia (97JS, 96JH, 93VN). James Suckling: "This is a linear and beautiful wine as always with currant, floral, mint and wet earth. Graphite. Rust. Metal shavings. Full body, chewy and tight with reserve and intensity. A truly excellent wine. Just a baby. Screw cap. Give it another three years. But love now." (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $56.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Ovid Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95VN, 94RP, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Ovid belongs to a group of vintages that includes 2007 and 2009 where the main characteristic is bold, racy fruit. A host of red cherry, pomegranate, smoke, licorice and tobacco wrap around the palate. Juicy, racy and flamboyant to the core, the 2012 needs a few years to lose some baby fat and develop aromatic complexity, but it is impressive. The 2012 is distinctly red-toned and floral in character, as so many wines are in this vintage. (AG)" (02/2017)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru "Cuvée Celebration" (92BH, 92VN). Vinous: "Jadot’s 2012 Beaune 1er Cru Celebration is aromatically quite expressive, with lovely bright, floral notes that play off a core of red berry and stone fruits. The gracious, almost feminine, bouquet is alluring and suggests a wine that is quite open, but the palate sensation is completely different. Tiny yields and high skin to juice ratios yielded red Burgundies with huge tannic clout that obscures the fruit, which is exactly how the wine comes across in tasting. It will be interesting to see if the 2012 softens over time, or if it gains volume with aging. Today, it is decidedly on the austere side of things. (AG)" (03/2018)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Samuel Billaud Chablis 1er Cru "Montée de Tonnerre" (94VN, 93BH). Vinous: "Billaud's 2012 Chablis Montée de Tonnerre is totally weightless yet also remarkably precise. Lemon zest, grapefruit, white flowers, crushed rocks and mint wrap around a core of bright, saline-infused fruit. Chiseled and wonderfully pulsating, the 2012 is showing beautifully today, although it will be even better in another few years. 94+ (AG)" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $171.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 McGah Family "Scarlett" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Scarlett Estate is the superstar of this trio. Winemaker Mike Smith has fashioned a beautiful Cabernet revealing lots of crème de cassis, cedarwood and spice box intermixed with a subtle hint of oak. Full-bodied as well as elegant, it reminds me of some of the great BV Private Reserves from the 1950s and 1960s. Multilayered with sweet tannin, this concentrated blockbuster is remarkably elegant and complex. Consume it over the next two decades. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $64.02

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Estate" Dry Creek Valley Petite Sirah (93VN). Vinous: "The 2012 Petite Sirah Lytton Estate is absolutely delicious. The addition of 10% Zinfandel has softened the typically burly Petit tannins, resulting in a wine that delivers tons of pure pleasure. Menthol, cloves and lavender wrap around a core of blue/purplish fruit in a gorgeous Petite with soft contours (for Petite) and terrific overall balance. (AG)" (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Fontodi "Flaccianello della Pieve" Toscana (97DC, 97VN, 94JS, 94RP). Vinous: "The 2012 Flaccianello della Pieve, a selection of the estate's best fruit, presents a darker, more virile expression of Sangiovese. Here, too, the purity of the flavors is truly striking. Cinnamon, cloves, new leather, licorice and plums are some of the notes that soar from the glass. The 2012 is full-bodied and voluptuous, in classic Flaccianello style, but the new French oak is much better integrated than it often is at this stage, the result of a move to lower toast levels over the last few years. This is one of the finest young Flaccianellos I can remember. Simply put, the 2012 Flaccianello is a real stunner. Wow! (AG)" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Calon-Ségur, St-Estèphe (96WE, 93JG, 93JS, 93WS, 91RP, 91VN). Wine Enthusiast: "Firm and structured, this beautifully concentrated wine has plenty of the dark tannins that come out of Cabernet Sauvignon in Saint-Estèphe while allowing room for juicy fruit. The wood aging is still showing, giving some spice to the wine. At the end, it’s the density of the wine that’s so impressive. *Top Cellar Selections of 2015* (RV)" (05/2015)

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Myriad "Beckstoffer Georges III" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (97RP, 93JS, (91-93ST), 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the famous George III vineyard, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard has a haunting bouquet of cedar wood, juicy blackcurrant jam and forest floor. A soil note enhances the overall picture. The wine has gorgeously sweet well-integrated tannins, no evidence of new oak (as it’s so well-integrated), a plush, voluptuously textured full-bodied mouthfeel and a knockout finish. This is sensational wine that can easily be a modern-day version of one of the great BV Private Reserves from decades ago, although in this case it’s aged in French oak, not American. Kudos to Mike Smith. Look for this to drink well for 20 or more years. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $185.88

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99JD, 98JS, 98RP, 98VN, 95WE). Jeb Dunnuck: "Checking in as a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc that hit 14.3% alcohol, the 2012 Dominus is a sensational wine that certainly ranks with the all-time greats of this cuvée and is reminiscent of the 1991. Ripe, flamboyant, and incredibly sexy, it nevertheless shows the classic style of this estate, has nothing out of place and just glides across the palate. Blackcurrants, tobacco leaf, cedar box, new leather, and an almost garrigue-like character all emerge from this full-bodied, silky, seamless effort that has fine tannin, perfectly integrated acidity, tannins, alcohol, and a great, great finish. Drink it any time over the coming 2-3 decades. It's a tour de force in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and one of the greats. 99+" (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $430.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Ficklin "Row 100" Madera Vintage Port. Founded in 1946, Ficklin makes Port from traditional Portuguese grape varietals grown on the winery's estate in Madera County.
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2012 Williams Selyem "Burt Williams' Morning Dew Ranch" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (94VN, 94WE), 1-bottle of 2012 Williams Selyem "Westside Road Neighbors" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (94WE, 92CG, 92ST, 91W&S, 90WS), 1-bottle of 2012 Williams Selyem Central Coast Pinot Noir, and 1-bottle of 2012 Williams Selyem Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (92WE, 91VN). Of the 2012 Williams Selyem "Burt Williams' Morning Dew Ranch" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir, Vinous writes: "Bright ruby. Aromas of fresh red berries, rose pastille, blood orange and smoky minerals, along with a hint of Asian spices. Fresh, penetrating and pure, offering gently sweet strawberry and raspberry flavors that put on weight and become spicier with aeration. Shows very good intensity with no excess weight. Finishes silky and extremely long, with subtle tannins coming on late. (ST)" (05/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Morlet "Bouquet Garni" Bennett Valley Syrah (96RP, 93VN, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Luc Morlet further demonstrates his genius with his Syrah called Bouquet Garni from Bennett Valley, which is bottled without fining or filtration. There are only around five barrels (125 cases) of this 100% Syrah that tastes like it includes some Viognier in the blend (because of the floral and lavender notes). The 2012 Syrah Bouquet Garni offers up fabulous notes of black truffles, lavender, roasted herbs, graphite, blackberries and meaty charcuterie. Other than a handful of Syrahs from Sine Qua Non, this French-tasting Syrah is the closest thing I have tasted to Guigal’s famous Côte Rôtie La Landonne. Drink this sensational Syrah over the next 10-15 years. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Gazin, Pomerol (95RP, 94JS, 92CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Gazin has a complex, quite mercurial bouquet that seems quite confit in style at the moment. After five minutes it offers raspberry coulis, wild strawberry, marmalade and minerals. You could nose this all day! The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp acidity, beautifully balanced with a harmony all its own. It glides across the mouth, so much so that it almost belies the structure underneath. This is seriously good—a top-drawer Pomerol with long-term ambitions. It may warrant an even higher score in the future. This is one to watch. (NM)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Bevan "Ontogeny" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Ontogeny Red Wine is a blend of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with lesser portions of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Deep garnet in color with a touch brick, it wafts from the glass with a fragrant perfume of Morello cherries, spice cake and preserved plums, plus underlying suggestions of cigar box, tree bark and pencil lead. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers maturing black and red fruit preserves layers with loads of spicy sparks and a chewy texture, finishing long with a compelling lift. (LPB)" (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Billaud-Simon Chablis 1er Cru "Montée de Tonnerre" (93BH, 92VN). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A more elegant and equally restrained nose is composed of floral and mineral reduction scents where top notes of white fruit and sea breeze hints are evident. The pure and sleekly muscular flavors possess a silky texture that continues onto the mineral-driven, intense, mouth coating and beautifully balanced finish. This is seriously impressive. *Outstanding* " (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Pine Ridge Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE, 93JS, 93WS, 90RP). Wine Enthusiast: "From a steep, densely planted estate vineyard, this is a lilting regional example of well-integrated oak in support of black raspberry, licorice and chalky clove. Silky tannins mark it most, providing a balance to the fruit and a pronounced, entirely delectable bite of black pepper on the finish. *Editors' Choice* (VB)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $55.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot in original wood; including 2-bottles of 2012 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 95WS, 94RP), 3-bottles of 2012 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96VN, 94JS), and 1-bottle of 2012 Schrader "CCS - Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 96JS, 96VN, 94WS). Of the 2012 Schrader "CCS - Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer to Kalon Vineyard CCS is Clone 4 from another block, and always seems to hit all the sweet spots on my palate. It’s aged 20 months in 100% new Darnajou barrels (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2012 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir ((93-95RP), 95VN) and 1-bottle of 2012 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir ((93-95RP), 95VN). Of the 2012 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Vinous writes: "The 2012 Pinot Noir UV-SL Vineyard is the most complete of these Pinots. It is also by far the most intense. Dark red cherry, plum, spice and menthol notes all take shape in the glass. The style is broad, ample and super-ripe. Amazingly, with time in the glass, the wine comes together very nicely, but it really does need a lot of time. A juicy, boisterous finish rounds things out. The UV-SL is the Pinot that most clearly defines Mark Aubert's deeply personal approach to Pinot Noir. (AG)" (02/2014)
Starting Bid: $305.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Williams Selyem "Terra De Promissio Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (92WE, 92WS). Wine Enthusiast: "This classy young Pinot is the second release from the winery's only Petaluma Gap vineyard. It's bone dry, mouthwateringly tart in acidity and delicate in structure, with complex cherry, cranberry, persimmon and cola flavors, nicely augmented by smoky oak." (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien ((94-96WE), 92DC, 92RP, 91JS, 91VN). Wine Enthusiast: "Firmly tannic in character, this wine is dry and extracted. There's potential for this powerful, impressive wine to bear the wine's very dry character with the weight of its fruit. (RV)" (04/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Tenuta Sette Ponti "Oreno" Toscana (97JS, 93RP, 93VN, 93WS). James Suckling: "Fabulous aromas of blackberries, orange peel, raspberries and citrus. Violets too. Full body, ultra-fine tannins and a light, dusty texture. It's so fine and beautiful, racy and refined. Very structured indeed but also soulful and very, very inspiring. There's a new refinement to this wine as the winemakers search for a truly beautiful expression of the terroir. Better in 2017 but a joy to taste now." (11/2014)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Pott "Le Nouveau Western Star Vineyard" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Le Nouveau Western Star Vineyard comes from a site originally planted by Ric Forman and David Abreu on pure gravelly clay loam soils. Beringer and Etude have done some fabulous work from this site, and this is another gorgeous effort. Lots of blackberry, blackcurrant, dusty, loamy soil, sweet licorice, incense and camphor emerge from this deep, rich Cabernet. Pott’s vineyard rows are planted with the Martha’s Clone of Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the late Joe Heitz’s legendary Martha’s Vineyard. This is a beauty to drink over the next 12-15 years. (AG)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Hanzell Sonoma Valley Pinot Noir. Wine Spectator: "Well-structured, with tight, crisp flavors of red berry, spice, gravelly earth and light cedar. Ends with flinty tannins and good length. (JL, Web 2015)"
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JD, 97JS, 96RP, 96VN, 95CG, 95WE, 93WS, 92W&S). James Suckling: "Amazing aromas of blueberry, blackberry, mineral and bark. Complex nose. Full body plus super integrated tannins with superb balance and depth. Coffee and chocolate too. Very long and mind-bending. A tribute to the vintage. Drink or hold. A long life ahead of it. " (11/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Rauzan-Ségla, Margaux (94RP, 94WE, 93VN, 92DC, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet in color, the 2012 Rauzan-Ségla reveals evolving notions of new leather, cigar box and stewed tea over a core of blackcurrant cordial, plum preserves and blueberry compote with touches of cumin seed and fenugreek. Medium-bodied, the palate has a lot of spritely zip with red fruit accents lifting the mature savory and spice notes, framed by grainy tannins, finishing with great tension. (LPB)" (04/2020)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Clos Fourtet, St-Emilion (95RP, 95VN, (93-95WE), 94WS, 92JS, (90-92ST), 91CG, 91DC). Vinous: "The 2012 Clos Fourtet is deep, fleshy and quite seductive. Sweet red cherry, plum, dried flowers, sage and rosemary flesh out in a pretty, gracious Clos Fourtet that offers lovely balance to match its mid-weight, restrained personality. This is a lovely showing, and a wine that should drink well with minimal cellaring. The 2012 preserves lovely freshness, but it should also drink well with minimal cellaring. There is plenty to admire, that much is sure. The 2012 is 86% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc that spent 18 months in French oak, 60% new. (AG)" (01/2016)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Januik "Champoux Vineyard" Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93WE, 92VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Maybe the finest wine from here (that I’ve tasted anyway), the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Champoux Vineyard is a thrilling blend of almost all Cabernet (there’s 2% Malbec) that exhibits, fresh, lively and pure notes of cassis, black raspberry, violets, toasted bread and spring flowers. Coming from one of the top terroirs in Washington, this full-bodied, elegant and layered Cabernet has no hard edges, impeccable balance and a great finish. Probably the most complete wine in the lineup, it will be better with a few years of cellaring, and have two decades of evolution. (JD)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $161.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2012 Anthill Farms "Demuth" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (94VN, 92ST, 92W&S). Vinous: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Demuth Vineyard is a drop-dead gorgeous beauty. Vibrant, nuanced and delineated, the 2012 stands out for its clarity and detail. The flavors are wonderfully alive in the glass, while the balance of fruit, acidity and tannin is superb. The Demuth seems to have handled its recent bottling better than some of the other wines in the range. The inclusion of 50% stems lends an additional dimension of brightness to the expressive cranberry and pomegranate flavors. I was quite taken with the wines I tasted from Anthill Farms this year. Winemaker Anthony Filiberti works with a handful of sites in Sonoma and Mendocino counties to produce highly transparent, nuanced wines loaded with personality. (AG)" (02/2014)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Haut-Bailly, Pessac-Léognan (96JD, 96RP, 96VN, 94DC, 94JS, 94WE, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Haut Bailly is quite fragrant and inviting. Dark raspberries, mint, crushed flowers, spices and rose petals all lift from the glass in this feminine, gracious Haut-Bailly that offers considerable near and medium-term appeal. All the elements fall into place in an effortless, stunningly beautiful wine endowed with personality and class. One of the wines of the vintage, the Haut Bailly will drink well for two decades-plus. This is a superb showing from proprietor Bob Wilmers and his team headed by Véronique Sanders. The decision to lower temperatures in fermentation and go for a soft, gentle extraction, along with strict selection has paid off big time. (AG)" (01/2016)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Clos de la Tech "Domaine Lois Louise - Twisty Ridge" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (94WE). Wine Enthusiast: "This winery atop the mountains overlooking Silicon Valley makes amazingly earthy and age-worthy wines. This bottling's nose is soil-driven, with sun-baked loam laid across red cherry, condensed lilacs, cola and sandalwood aromas. The sip is structured firmly and strategically like the frame of a well-built home, where dark mulberry and savory spices reside. *Top 100 Cellar Selections 2017* (MK)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $119.29

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90DC). Decanter: "Though considered a rich, exceptional vintage from the beginning, many wines now taste soft and mushy. Not this one - it has verve and an almost volcanic character along with bright red fruit notes and a long finish. Duncan puts its precision down to their adoption of berry sensory analysis. Like other ripe vintages, the sweetness of the fruit is almost too much. (EM)" (09/2019)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac (93DC, 93JS, 93RP, 93VN, 92WE, 92WS, 91JD). Vinous: "A wine of real class, pedigree and distinction, the 2012 Pontet-Canet is absolutely gorgeous. The flavors are beautifully nuanced and delineated throughout. Bright floral notes add lift and sensuality. The 2012 is decidedly understated next to some other recent vintages, but the magic of this site simply won't be denied. This is another sublime wine from proprietor Alfred Tesseron. (AG) 93+" (01/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Bernardus "Marinus" Carmel Valley Bordeaux Blend (92WE, 91JD). Wine Enthusiast: "One of the winery's most celebrated releases each year, this blend of all five major Bordeaux red varieties is an excellent showcase of Carmel Valley's class. Freshly squeezed blackberry and blackcurrant fruit meet with beef char, charcoal and dried lilacs on the nose. The palate tastes of lava rocks, dark chocolate, fresh boysenberries, dried mint and beef jerky, all woven together with a touch of smoke. *Editors' Choice* (MK)" (02/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Alban "Estate" Edna Valley Grenache (98RP, 94VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the finest Grenache cuvées made in California, the 2012 Grenache's inky ruby/purple color is followed by classic concentrated Grenache notes of black fruits, roasted herbs, licorice and crushed flowers. Full-bodied, incredibly pure, layered and balanced, I wish every reader (and every winemaker who's releasing these barely colored, mid-weight examples of Grenache) could taste this beauty.
