2012 Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne
Top Pick!
98 points Decanter: "What a magnificent bouquet for this Dom Pérignon 2012! Pastry, a hint of smoke and autolytic notes provide a compelling counterpart to eager yet elegant aromas of citrus (lime, tangerine and kumquat) joined by those of fresh fruit, herbs, liquorice, and menthol. There is even a refreshing note of ivy. The palate is tense, vibrant, and very fresh despite its impressive density, which meets its match with an unending finish. This 2012 incarnates the very essence of Dom Pérignon with such a concentrated degree of intensity, along with a...

2012 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne
Top Pick!
98 points John Gilman: "The wine was finished in 2012 with a dosage of 7.5 grams per liter and offers up a beautiful young nose of pear, apple, fresh lemon, white flowers, a very complex base of chalky minerality, a hint of the caraway seed to come and a topnote of white flowers. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nascently complex, with a racy girdle of acidity, a rock solid core, impeccable focus and grip, refined mousse and stunning length and grip on the poised and perfectly balanced finish. This is another great vintage of Cristal in th...

98 points Wine Enthusiast: "This single vineyard, one of the steepest in Champagne, produces fabulous wines. Richness restrained by the minerality from the terroir is balanced by the structured Pinot Noir fruits that bring touches of toast, spice and white fruits. Drink through 2025 at least. (RV) 12/2021" (12/2021) 97 points James Suckling: "Aromas of bread dough, mandarin, strawberry, raspberry and light dry earth follow through to a full body with lightly candied fruit, phenolic tension and a clear, bright finish. Mineral. Pure. Dry and layered at t...

2012 Auguste Clape "Renaissance" Cornas
Back In Stock!
95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The entry level Cornas that gets some young vines, the 2012 Cornas Renaissance is just like the straight Cornas, only slightly softer and more approachable. Cassis, black raspberry, leather, crushed rock and liquid mineral-like qualities all give way to a full-bodied, concentrated, yet elegant and thrillingly pure Cornas that can be enjoyed anytime over the coming decade or more. While it doesn't get any more Cornas than Clape, these wines also speak just as loudly of the domaine as they do of the steep granite s...

95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 True Vineyard Immigrant, a blend of 39% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Cabernet Franc, and 28% Merlot aged 20 months in two-thirds new French oak, offers notes of forest floor, mulberries, black cherries, blackcurrants and unsmoked cigar tobacco. With sweet tannin, and a deep, broad, savory, medium to full-bodied style, this pure, sexy red can be enjoyed over the next 5-8 years. (RP)" (10/2014) 94 points Vinous: "The 2012 Immigrant, Outpost's Cabernet Franc/Merlot blend, is another juicy, up-front wine with t...

90 points Decanter: "This extra brut blend is made from equal amounts of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with a dosage of 4g/l. There is no malolactic fermentation. It has a lovely fresh yet buttery nose redolent of white fruits. It's a delicate, light and upright Champagne that seems ideal as an aperitif thanks to its perfect balance and zesty style (YC)." 99 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The nearly perfect 2012 Chardonnay Belle Côte boasts an amazing perfume of pineapple marmalade, tangerine oil, wet rocks and citrus blossoms. This full-bodied, stunning Chardonnay has a creamy texture as well as fabulous underlying mineral characteristics. One of the great wines of the vintage, this amazing Chardonnay can be enjoyed over the next decade or more. (RP)" (12/2014) 95 points James Suckling: "Aromas of flint, pineapples, sliced apples, white peaches, pears and light honey. Ginger. A full-bodied, bro...

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The fabulous 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is virtually all 100% new oak-aged Cabernet Sauvignon. A dense purple color is accompanied by smoky barbecue, charcoal, crème de cassis, coffee, chocolate and graphite notes. Full-bodied, opulent, fleshy and sensual, it can be consumed over the next 10-15 years. (RP)" (10/2014) 93 points Vinous: "The 2012 Seven Stones is soft, silky and beautifully nuanced from the very first taste. Cedar, tobacco, red cherry pit, mint, plum and spice notes are woven throughout. Today the 20...

99 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine that stood out for its complexity and intensity was the 2012 Chardonnay Cix Estate. Planted with the Reuling clone of Chardonnay, this vineyard is situated next to the vineyard from which Mark Aubert makes the Lauren Chardonnay. There are only 600 cases of this prodigious wine. The vines were planted in 2007, so this is only the fifth leaf, but, wow, what a Chardonnay. Copious notes of pineapple, mango and guava along with wet stone, caramelized citrus, tangerine and orange marmalade characteristics are fo...

2012 Veuve Clicquot "La Grande Dame - Yayoi Kusama Edition" Brut Champagne
Top Pick!
96 points Decanter: "A generous golden colour betrays the dominance of Pinot Noir in the blend; this theme thereafter maintained by aromatics of fig, wild strawberries and Mirabelle plums; behind that, jasmine, red apples and a distant whiff of woodsmoke. Engaging already, in other words. One’s impressions are confirmed and amplified on the palate, with the aspiration voiced by both chef de caves Dominique and Didier, to allow the ‘cooler’ Pinot Noir sites full rein. This is eloquently evidenced by a subtle and deftly textured structure, the primary frui...

100 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Pure perfection in Syrah, the 2012 Ermitage Le Pavillon comes from the pure granite soils of the Les Bessards lieu-dit and was brought up in around 30-35% new demi-muids. This blockbuster yet magical wine offers everything: incredible aromatics, huge richness and intensity, no sensation of weight or heaviness, and a finish that just goes on and on. With lots of sweet dark cassis and raspberry fruit, it has an almost Méal-like sexiness yet shows more and more minerality as well as tannins on the finish. It’s a quintessential, awes...

93 points Vinous: "(vinified with 100% whole clusters; from vines that were planted in 1911 and 1913): Saturated ruby. Ripe dark berries, candied plum and violet oil on the highly perfumed mineral- and smoke-accented nose. Supple and broad, offering palate-staining black raspberry and floral pastille flavors and a touch of white pepper. Finishes very long, spicy and floral, leaving a gently sweet blue fruit note behind. (JR)" (02/2015) 91 points Wine & Spirits: "Balthazar blends this wine from two vineyards, one of centenary vines he bought from his un...

2012 Montrose, St-Estèphe (Lightly Scuffed Label)
New!
95 points Wine Enthusiast: "Produced in the magnificent new cellars at Montrose, this big, tannic wine is powerful and concentrated. It has something of the classic severity of a wine from this estate, but that’s mitigated by the ripe, generous blackberry fruitiness and the final freshness of a 2012. A great success, to drink from 2022. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (05/2015) 94 points Decanter: "From a blend of 37% Merlot, 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot, Montrose managed to take advantage of the good weather that returned in ...

98 points James Suckling: "The aromas to this wine are very complex and brooding with black currant, sage and spearmint. Sous bois and wet earth too. Then turns to black fruits. Entrancing nose. This is full-bodied yet tight and focused with compressed tannins and a long finish. Very intense volcanic sea salt to the wine. A much more subtle and mind-provoking style. " (07/2015) 97 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, is a relatively powerful statement from the new owners. Dense rub...

92-95 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Generous if not dominant wood serve as a not-so-subtle backdrop to the intensely sauvage and spicy red currant, cassis, plum and pungently earth aromas. The attractively textured and mouth coating large-scaled flavors enjoy copious amounts of palate coating and tannin-buffering dry extract along with plenty of minerality that adds lift to the imposingly structured finish. This massive effort is very definitely old school and there will be no point in opening this before at least a decade of aging has occurred. *Do...

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. It is so good no...

97 points James Suckling: "Berry, smoke, violet and sandalwood aromas follow through to a full, layered palate that shows super polished tannins that are caressing and long. It’s tight and very long. Give it two or three years to soften. Drink after 2023. " (08/2021) 96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Único is released 10 years after the harvest. They produced it with the grapes from 40 of the 210 hectares of vineyards they have, with a total of 55 separate plots and 19 different soils. It's mostly 95% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) and 5% Ca...
Price: $1,200.00

92 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A subtle touch of wood sets off ripe and relatively elegant notes of earth, dark cherry and spice. The mid-palate is dense, serious and powerful with plenty of mouth coating sap that helps to buffer the very firm tannic spine on the moderately austere, backward and built-to-age finale. While this is presently backward it should be approachable after 6 to 8 years of bottle age though note that it should live for a very long time. For readers having a child or grandchild in 2012 this would be a good choice to buy in qu...
Price: $119.99

95 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Here the nose is similar to the regular cuvée from a compositional standpoint but the fruit is denser, slightly riper and more complex as well. The very concentrated broad-shouldered flavors possess excellent concentration as the copious dry extract both coats the palate and buffers the extremely firm tannic spine on the explosively long but impeccably well-balanced finish. This is distinctly old school in style and will require extended cellaring to arrive at its peak. I would not recommend buying this ultra-serious...

100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Le Desir (64% Cabernet Franc, 24% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Malbec) reminds me of a young vintage of Ausone, such as 2005. The wine has amazing minerality and an explosive blueberry nose intermixed with blackberries, new saddle leather, charcoal and camphor. It is full-bodied, with espresso notes emerging on the palate. There are 1,900 cases of this super-endowed, prodigious wine that should drink well for 35-40 years. How fun it would be for mega-millionaires to put this in a blind tasting o...

92 points James Suckling: "Crazy nose of red licorice, dark fruits and walnuts. Full body, chewy tannins and a juicy finish. This is rich and structured. Try in 2017." (02/2015) 92 points Vinous: "The 2012 La Gaffeliere comes across as quite compact today, although the underlying material appears promising. The 20% Cabernet Franc is evident, especially in the wines tannic profile. Hints of iron, smoke and leather open up with time in the glass, but the 2012 is going to need at least a few more years in bottle. Still, there is plenty to look forward to....

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Arkenstone "Obsidian" Howell Mountain Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Obsidian Proprietary Red is a 580-case blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot, Malbec and Merlot. A complex nose of spring flowers, white chocolate, black cherry and cassis as well as touches of blackberry and espresso is followed by a multi-layered wine with stunning concentration, seductive and sexy notes of low acidity, plenty of glycerin and sweet tannin. This is a full-bodied beauty that was aged 22 months in 100% French oak. The alcohol is a moderately high 14.8%. Anticipated maturity: now-2032. (RP)" (12/2015)

Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Mill-York Creek Vineyard" Napa Valley Zinfandel. From the winery: "York Creek Vineyard, situated high on Spring Mountain, overlooks St. Helena and the Napa Valley from the west. Ridge came here in 1971 for the old-vine petite sirah. We first harvested York Creek zinfandel in 1975, and have made it in every vintage since."

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Sine Qua Non "Stein" Central Coast Grenache (97RP, (95-97VN)). Vinous: "The 2012 Grenache Stein is incredibly refined, silky and pure, with bright red and blue-hued fruits. Today, the flavors are primary, so readers will have to be patient get the full breadth of aromas, flavors and textures. The Stein is a decidedly feminine, gracious Grenache that impresses for its textural beauty and nuance. I imagine it will provide a long and broad drinking window of pure pleasure over the next 15-20 years. This is an absolutely gorgeous wine from Sine Qua Non. The final blend is 76% Grenache, 16% Syrah and 8% Mourvèdre; 53% from Eleven Confessions, 29% from Cumulus, 9% The Third Twin and 9% Bien Nacido. The 2012 was done with 29% whole clusters and will spend around 22 months in French oak (14%) prior to its scheduled bottling this summer. (AG)" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Lail "J. Daniel Cuvée" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 96JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Absolutely perfect and one of the monumental wines of my long tasting trip in Napa is the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon J. Daniel Cuvée. I didn’t see this from barrel last year. Aged 20 months in 75% new French oak and representing 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from three vineyard sources: one in Calistoga, one in Oakville and one in Howell Mountain. Robin Lail and winemaker Philippe Melka hit pay dirt with a wine that has an inky purple color, an almost amazing bouquet that reminded me of 1989 Chateau Montrose when it was young. Sweet almost truffle-infused earth, graphite, forest floor, blackcurrant and black cherry notes are followed by a full-bodied wine with a hint of mocha and licorice. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Amuse Bouche Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92JS, 91VN, 90RP, 90WS). James Suckling: "Aromas and flavors of walnuts, balsamic vinegar and dried fruits that follow through to a full body, round and juicy tannins and a savory finish. Some orange-peel undertones. Needs a couple of years to come together. " (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 99RP, 98JS, 97VN, 95DC, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "With the lowest percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in of any of the wines from this vertical, the 2012 final blend was 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Production across the board in 2012 was high, and reflected in the 3, 977 cases made at Spottswoode. This is a dramatic, flamboyant, modern-day version of the 2002. Dramatic blueberry, black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, along with camphor, charcoal, white flowers and foresty notes all emerge from the impressive aromatics that soar from the glass. The intense, explosively rich, full-bodied palate is layered with beautiful purity, stunningly sweet, silky tannins and terrific presence and complexity. This is a gorgeous wine on a relatively fast evolutionary track, I suspect, but certainly it has 30 years of upside left. (RP)" (08/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Pierre Labet Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes ((89-91VN), 89BH). Vinous: "Good bright, dark red. Very ripe aromas and flavors of raspberry, coffee and smoked meat. Sweet, silky and highly concentrated, with ripeness bordering on roasted. Finishes fat, rich and persistent. Will this bring enough verve into the bottle?" (01/2014)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 96JS, 96RP, 94DC, 94WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Monte Bello is one of the most harmonious young Monte Bellos I can remember tasting. Seamless and voluptuous through to the finish, the 2012 is showing beautifully today. Raspberry jam, pomegranate, white flowers, mint and spices are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. A wine with a distinctly red-hued profile, silky tannins, no hard edges and exceptional overall balance, the 2012 Monte Bello is simply magnificent. The 2012 is racy but also impeccably balanced throughout, with shades of the 2001 that come through from time to time. I won't be surprised if the 2013 and 2014 both eventually surpass it, but there is no denying that the 2012 is simply stunning today. This is one of the best showings yet for the 2012. (AG)" (07/2015)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Lewis Cellars "Alec's Blend" Napa Valley Red Blend (93WS, 90CG). Wine Spectator: "There’s lots to admire in this richly flavored effort, offering tiers of graphite, mocha, dark berry, toasty oak and savory notes. Maintains a bold profile on the long and persistent finish, and promises to develop in the future. Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Verdot. Drink now through 2026. (JL)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Larkmead "Firebelle" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 94JS, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Living up to its barrel tasting notes, the 2012 Proprietary Red Firebelle (54% Merlot, 21% Malbec, 13% Petit Verdot and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon) was aged 18 months in 62% French oak. Sweet blackcurrant, blackberry, licorice, chocolate and loamy soil notes are followed by a savory, expansive, opulent, dense yet approachable and exuberant wine. It is best consumed over the next 12-15 years. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 97JS, 97VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A close second (and who knows how they might perform at different times and with different foods) is the 2012 Cariad Proprietary Red Wine, made from grapes grown by David Abreu at his estate vineyards in Napa. This blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 9% Petit Verdot shows notes of burning embers/charcoal, blackberry fruit, licorice and floral notes, followed by a full-bodied, dense, layered wine. It has great purity, wonderfully sweet, integrated tannin, and a voluptuous mouthfeel and finish of close to 50+ seconds. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $585.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Latour-Giraud Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Champs Canet" (93BH, 92VN). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A restrained and very cool nose offers up notes of citrus, pear, acacia blossom and a hint of spice. The round and seductively textured medium-bodied flavors possess a highly appealing sense of underlying tension along with plenty of volume before culminating in a beautifully complex and sneaky long finish. 2012 is a powerful yet elegant vintage for this wine that really coats the palate with dry extract and which will allow this to be enjoyed young if desired even though it should reward at least 5 to 8 years of cellar time." (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Cayuse "Bionic Frog" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (99RP, 96WE, 95VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "While a lot of the 2012s came in near the bottom of the barrel score, that wasn't the case with the 2012 Syrah Bionic Frog and this beauty flirts with perfection. Inky colored and purple to the rim, it offers extraordinary notes of black fruits, wild mushrooms, smoked earth and salty minerality. (JD)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 6" Central Coast Red Blend (99RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine that flirts with perfection, the 2012 Cumulus Vineyard #6 is an interesting blend of 38% Syrah, 37% Grenache, 17.4% Petite Sirah and the rest Mourvedre that saw 33 months in 54% new French oak. There’s a tiny 191 cases made, and it’s one of the most singular, exotic wines I’ve tasted. Spice, cedar, chocolate, exotic flowers and an assortment of dark fruits all emerge from this full-bodied, layered blend that hits the palate with serious richness and depth. Yet, like all truly great wines, it’s light, ethereal and never, ever heavy. (JD) " (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $500.00

100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Sharing some similarities to the le Meal (yet its from a very different terroir), with its full-bodied, decadent, heavenly profile that somehow stays pure, poised and elegant, the 2012 Ermitage le Pavillon (767 cases) offers an extraordinary perfume of cassis, raspberries, crushed flowers, powdered rock and smoked earth. Coming all from the granite soils of the les Bessards lieu-dit, which produces some of the most muscular, concentrated wines on the planet, this serious 2012 is more approachable than either the...

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Au Sommet Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 92JS, 90WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Au Sommet Elev 2100 Ft. captures all the radiance of the vintage in its ample, explosive personality. Sweet red cherries, spices, new leather and mocha all flesh out as this juicy, silky Cabernet Sauvignon shows off its alluring personality. Heidi Barrett has largely tamed the Atlas Peak tannins and what comes through is a racy, voluptuous Cabernet that will be nearly impossible to resist in its youth. Today, it is particularly expressive. (AG)" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $217.00

97 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Bottled six months prior to my visit and scheduled for release late in 2018, the 2012 Hoffmann Vineyard Shiraz is a tour de force. Between the mint and floral aromas, vanilla oak and deep, plummy fruit, you'll forgive me if I didn't notice this wine's considerable alcohol (it's 15.6%). Full-bodied, rich and supple, the long, licorice-tinged finish is swaddled in the softest, most-cuddly tannins imaginable. This is a beauty!" (08/2018)
Price: $449.99

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (98JD, 96WS, 95VN, 95WE). Jeb Dunnuck: "A classic wine from this estate, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon gives up tons of lead pencil shavings, toasted bread, sweet black currants, and graphite in a pedal-to-the-metal, rich, locked and loaded style. Possessing no hard edges, full-bodied, richness, no weight and a killer finish, this tour de force in Washington State Cabernet will drink brilliantly for another two decades or more." (01/2018)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 1, 580 cases of the 2012 James Berry Vineyard and it reminds me of the 2009 Janasse Chaupin (which is one of Justin’s favorite wines). Incorporating more Mourvèdre than normal, it’s made from 43% Grenache, 29% Mourvèdre, 18% Syrah and 10% Counoise that’s aged in a combination of concrete and barrel. Rock star stuff, with fabulous black raspberry, cassis, spring flowers and charred meat aromas and flavors, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness and depth, yet stays lively, incredibly pure and elegant, with lots of fine tannin emerging on the finish. (JD) 97+" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 99RP, 95VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium garnet in color, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan Vineyard opens with the most beautiful red roses and lilacs scents with red and black cherry compote and hints of cinnamon stick, earth, stewed tea, cigar box and forest floor. The palate is full-bodied, rich and seductive with incredibly perfumed fruit and a satiny texture, finishing very long. (LPB)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,125.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Gandona Vineyards "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 92VN, 92WS). One hundred percent Cabernet Sauvignon aged 22 months in 80% new French oak, there are 500 cases of this terrific wine. With its inky purple color, a glorious nose of blackberry and blueberry liqueur, full-bodied mouthfeel, dense, pure notes interwoven with camphor, charcoal embers and spring flowers, this is stunning stuff and a great example of the Estate’s potential. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2012 Kapcsàndy "Estate Cuvée - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, (92-95ST), 94JS, 94VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Estate Cuvée State Lane Vineyard, which is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot aged in a combination of mostly new French oak, but some Hungarian oak as well, represents 1, 190 cases, or 50% of the production from their estate vineyard. Bid on this bottle of 2012 Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche Grand Cru (96JG, (94-96RP), 96VN, 95BH, 93ST). Vinous: "Dujac's 2012 Clos de La Roche bristles with palpable energy and intensity. One of the more polished wines in the range, the Clos de la Roche is all about saline-infused energy and brilliance today. I very much like the precision here, but time has shown that the Clos de la Roche only starts to blossom with considerable bottle age. Today, the layers of dimension are present, but also compacted. In a few years, the 2012 will be truly magical. (AG)" (04/2015)
