Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Pierre Labet Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes ((89-91VN), 89BH). Vinous: "Good bright, dark red. Very ripe aromas and flavors of raspberry, coffee and smoked meat. Sweet, silky and highly concentrated, with ripeness bordering on roasted. Finishes fat, rich and persistent. Will this bring enough verve into the bottle?" (01/2014)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Latour-Giraud Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Champs Canet" (93BH, 92VN). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A restrained and very cool nose offers up notes of citrus, pear, acacia blossom and a hint of spice. The round and seductively textured medium-bodied flavors possess a highly appealing sense of underlying tension along with plenty of volume before culminating in a beautifully complex and sneaky long finish. 2012 is a powerful yet elegant vintage for this wine that really coats the palate with dry extract and which will allow this to be enjoyed young if desired even though it should reward at least 5 to 8 years of cellar time." (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Bosquet des Papes "Chante le Merle" Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes (97RP, 94WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A remarkable effort, the blockbuster 2012 Châteauneuf du Pape Chante le Merle Vieilles Vignes comes close to the 2010 in terms of quality. Coming from a selection of the top plots and old vines of the estate, co-fermented, and with no destemming, it offers off-the-charts notes of cassis, chocolate-covered cherries, garrigue, licorice and toasted spice. Possessing massive richness and depth, with tons of glycerin, texture and length, it stays remarkably elegant, balanced and pure on the palate, with building tannin and yet no hard edges. (JD)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Vincent & Sophie Morey Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "La Truffière" (91BH, (89-91ST)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Outstanding! A notably ripe nose features essence of pear and white peach along with hints of acacia blossom and oak toast. The mouth feel of the medium-bodied flavors is thick to the point of lush opulence thanks to the abundant dry extract that coats the palate on the balanced and lingering finish. This is impressive because despite how rich this is, there is absolutely no sense of undue heaviness, in part because the minerality adds lift. Worth considering" (06/2014)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Antoine Jobard Meursault 1er Cru "Les Charmes" (93BH, (90-93ST)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is already quite expressive with its pretty nose of white peach, dried apricot, apple and floral scents. The palate impression is quite tight and particularly so for the vintage with notably rich yet focused and intense medium weight flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality that adds lift to the clean, dry and balanced finish that displays more than a touch of youthful austerity. In fact this terrific effort is borderline racy and is perhaps a bit less Charmes in style than usual at present, though I suspect that it will flesh out considerably once its allowed a few years of cellar time. *Outstanding*" (06/2015)
