Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Castello Banfi "Poggio all'Oro" Brunello di Montalcino Riserva (98JS, 95WE, 92WS, 91VN). James Suckling: "A fabulous nose of licorice, fennel, cherries and ripe strawberries. Full body, firm tannins and a vivid, intense aftertaste." (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Colgin "IX Estate" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 97JS, 97WS, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The staggeringly rich, complex, harmonious, impeccably well-balanced 2007 IX Proprietary Red Estate (1, 400 case produced) exhibits aromas of spring flowers, cedarwood, Asian spices, licorice, blueberries, and blackberries. A distinct liqueur of minerals buttresses the full-bodied, massive concentration, giving an overall impression of elegance, purity, and harmony. This is another seamless tour de force in winemaking. It should drink well for 25 or more years. (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $700.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape (100RP, 99JD, 97WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the great vintages from this estate, surpassing even the 1990, 2000, 2001, 2003, and maybe the 2010 (time will tell with this one), the 2007 Châteauneuf du Pape from Vincent Avril delivers everything you could want from a wine. Full-bodied, intense and beautifully concentrated, with plenty of muscle and depth, it shows the hallmark elegance and purity of the estate, with sensational notes of kirsch liqueur, raspberries, incense, smoked meats and Asian spices. The blend is the normal 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, 10% Syrah and the rest a mix of permitted varieties, brought up all in older foudre, and it's just now entering its prime drink window and has another two decades of longevity. (JD)" (02/2017)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Merus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 94JS, 93ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted too late to make it into the December issue, Merus’s 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits an inky/purple color as well as an extraordinary bouquet of blueberry liqueur intermixed with graphite, charcoal, cassis, and spice. The wood seems pushed to the background given the extraordinary concentration of fruit. Full-bodied, powerful, and rich with chocolaty espresso notes intermixed with blackberries and blueberries, this pure, impressively textured, long Cabernet should evolve for two decades. (RP)" (02/2010)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Mayacamas Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN). Vinous: "Rose petals, savory herbs, leather, mint and plum notes open up in the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich, fleshy and textured, the 2007 captures a gorgeous balance between the raciness of the vintage and the inherent structure of this hillside site. The fruit turns darker on the finish as the tannin firms up. Although the 2007 can be enjoyed today there is little question its best days lie ahead. This is the best bottle of the 2007 I have had recently. (AG)" (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (98JS, 97WE, 96DC, 96JG, 96VN, 95RP, 94W&S, 93BH, 93WS). James Suckling: "This is a step up from the linear and fresh 2006. It shows subtle depth and power with a dense block of vivid fruit that's highlighted with lemon zest, green apples and hints of white peaches. Just the right amount of praline and nuts on the nose. Fine and tight bead give the Champagne a luxurious mouthfeel. One for now or the cellar. Drink or hold. " (12/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Bryant Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 97RP, 97WS, 95VN). James Suckling: "A very opulent, yet fresh nose. Perfumed with fresh mushrooms, currants, and blackberries. Full bodied with an amazing density of fruit, and ripe velvety tannins. So big and compacted, with a superb structure. Very 2006 in style but with much more intensity. The fruit amazing and intense. " (04/2011)
Starting Bid: $550.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Harlan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 98VN, 97JS, 97ST, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 2007 Harlan Estate reminds me of a hypothetical blend of the 2002 with a touch of the controversial 1997. Dense plum/purple-colored with sweet aromas of barbecue smoke, blueberries, blackberries, cassis, licorice, hot rocks and subtle oak, it is a splendidly opulent, pure wine with a skyscraper-like texture as well as stunningly deep fruit that expands gracefully across the palate. The finish lasts nearly a full minute. Because of its overwhelming richness and sweet tannins, this brilliant wine seems to be approachable now, but I suspect further nuances and complexity will emerge after 4-5 years in the bottle.(RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $850.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (100JD, 100RP, 98WS, 97ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Utter perfection, and one of the most profound Rhone Ranger wines I have ever tasted … As with many prodigious wines, the extraordinary freshness, purity, equilibrium, and singularity of this effort is breathtaking. Its dense purple color is accompanied by an extraordinary, incredibly pure, all enveloping, intense, sweet nose of black raspberries, kirsch, spring flowers, spice box, and pepper. Full-bodied with not a hard edge to be found, it is stunningly concentrated with unreal purity, a voluptuous texture, and remarkable freshness for a wine of such power, depth, and concentration. (RP)" (08/2009)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Clos Triguedina "Probus" Grand Vin de Cahors (93DC, 93WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Despite the age, the color of this wine is still impressively vibrant and the ripe fruit and dense structure both speak of a wine that is still developing even nine years later. Such is longevity of a great Malbec. Blackberry fruit flavors charge through this wine that's reached the point of balance with the tannins. (RV)" (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96JD, 96RP, 96WS, 94ST, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Beaucastel’s 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape has turned out even better out of bottle than I predicted. An inky/ruby/purple color is followed by a glorious nose of blue and black fruits, truffles, pen ink, licorice, and meat juices as well as glorious levels of acidity and sweet tannin, buttressing the fruit’s fabulous freshness and vibrancy. This full-bodied effort still displays considerable tannin, no doubt because of the relatively high Mourvèdre content. It should resolve its tannins in 2-4 years, and last for 25 or more. (RP)" (10/2009)
Starting Bid: $387.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Bartolo Mascarello Barolo (97VN, 96RP, 96WE, 93ST). Vinous: "Mascarello’s 2007 Barolo shows just how compelling this vintage can be, even now. Sensual, layered and totally voluptuous in the glass, the 2007 shows the more flamboyant side of Barolo. I find the wine’s voluptuous, engaging personality impossible to resist. Sure, 2007 is not a classic vintage, but when a wine is this good, I say: Who cares? (AG)" (07/2016)
Starting Bid: $750.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Grace Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93ST, 92RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep ruby-red. Serious, youthfully medicinal nose combines blackberry, licorice pastille, graphite, violet and fruity bitter chocolate. Intensely flavored and deep if youthfully imploded, with terrific verve to its flavors of cassis, minerals and bitter chocolate. Quite backward but already hinting at the sweetness to come. The wine's vibrant acidity, superb intensity and serious tannic clout give it the components for a long and slow evolution in bottle. An outstanding vintage for this wine. (ST)" (05/2010)
Starting Bid: $172.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Château Rayas "Réservé" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98JD, 98RP, 97VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I think the Rayas 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape will turn out to eclipse the 2005. It is unequivocally the finest wine made here since Emmanuel Reynaud’s uncle, the late Jacques Reynaud, produced his brilliant 1995. This wine was just released this year, with the 2008 coming on the market in the next few months. The 2007 is a relatively dark ruby/purple-tinged wine, more intensely colored than most Rayas Chateauneufs tend to be, since they are made from 100% Grenache and color has never been one of their hallmarks. (RP)" (10/2012)
Starting Bid: $900.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Sine Qua Non "Pictures" California Grenache (97RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 87% Grenache, 11.5% Syrah, and 1.5% Viognier, this wine has wonderful floral notes intermixed with black raspberries, black cherries, licorice, graphite and some camphor. In the mouth, more white chocolate notes appear, along with meatiness and some silky tannins. Its great purity, density and richness make me think this wine could even improve a few points and flirt with perfection. This stunning wine should drink nicely for another 10-15 years. (RP)" (08/2011)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 DuMol "Estate" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (95CG, 92ST, 91RP). Connoisseurs Guide: "Equally striking for its sheer fruity depth and its impressive com-bination of muscle and balance, this complex and wonderfully generous Pinot is an extravagant wine in most every way, but it never loses control and is as carefully structured as it is so very rich." (06/2010)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Casanova di Neri "Tenuta Nuova" Brunello di Montalcino (97WE, 96JS, 95VN, 94RP, 93WS, 92ST). Wine Enthusiast: "Gorgeous, opulent and rich, Tenuta Nuova is an unforgettable wine. It has body, power, persistence and loads of plush personality. It is layered with chocolate, cherry, blackberry, spice, leather and savory notes. There's a deep mineral layer as well. Compelling and lovely." (05/2012)
