Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Fisher "Whitney's Vineyard" Sonoma County Chardonnay (93WS). Wine Spectator: "Rich and layered, showing ripe fig, melon and hazelnut, with a hint of citrus. Complex and full-bodied, with a nice overlay of toasty oak, spice and lemon peel, gaining body and turning complex. (JL)" (06/2010)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Snowden "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve opens with wonderfully expressive notes of warm black plums, Black Forest cake, blackcurrant cordial and figs with suggestions of tobacco, dusty soil, tapenade and cedar chest plus a hint of bay leaves. The full-bodied palate is still incredibly youthful with buckets of ripe, plushly textured black fruits backed up with earth and spice box nuances, finishing long and perfumed. (LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94DC, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored with a lingering hint of purple, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with provocative notions of warm cassis, blueberry compote, blackberry pie and violets with chocolate box, licorice and menthol nuances plus wafts of wilted roses, lavender and kirsch. Medium-bodied, the intensely perfumed black and blue fruit flavors glide gracefully across the palate, revealing a myriad of earth and spice accents, all framed beautifully with super ripe, fine-grained tannins and invigorating freshness, finishing very, very long. Wow. LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Quivet "Kenefick Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaker Mike Smith launched Quivet Cellars with partners Duane Mason, John Brooks III, and Paul Mason with the goal of making high-quality, small-production Napa wines. They are known for their single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon made in a lush, hedonistic style that still delivers nuance and elegance. The fruit is sourced from a very steep, hand-terraced vineyard in the Mayacamas Mountains. Because of their small distribution, these wines are hard to come by, so snatch them up when you get the chance!
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2007 Domaine Santa Duc "Prestige des Hautes Garrigues" Gigondas (99JD, 97RP) and 1-bottle of 2007 Domaine St-Damien "Les Souteyrades" Gigondas Vieilles Vignes (98RP, 96JD). Of the 2007 Domaine Santa Duc "Prestige des Hautes Garrigues" Gigondas, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "An absolute blockbuster of a wine ranking with the finest Gigondas I've tasted, the 2007 Gigondas Prestige Des Hautes Garrigues is still youthful, revealing a ruby hue with no signs of bricking at the edge. Incredible notes of red and black currants, roasted herbs, jus de viande, white pepper, cedar, and charcuterie all develop with time in the glass, and it's full-bodied, with a rich, concentrated, mouth-filling mid-palate, still present tannins, and a thrilling finish. " (06/2021)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Clos du Mont-Olivet "La Cuvée du Papet" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (99RP, 97JD, 96WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Flirting with perfection, the utterly profound 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape la Cuvee du Papet is up there with some of the greatest Chateauneuf du Papes ever made. A huge, classically styled and Provencal wine, it offers layers of garrigue, black currants, licorice, beef blood and leather, as well as building tannin, a stacked mid-palate and a finish that just won’t quit. Made from 70% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah that was not destemmed, it was aged in equal parts concrete tanks and ancient foudre. It’s still an infant, with sweet tannin, and needs another 2-3 years to hit full maturity, and it will keep for upwards of two decades. (JD)" (02/2017)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Napa-Sonoma Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 94JS, 93VN, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a slightly more brooding and formidably endowed effort displaying more extract, tannin and structure. In spite of its massive size, concentration and extract, it possesses gorgeously sweet tannins as well as a sense of equilibrium. (RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $312.12

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Paolo Scavino "Rocche dell'Annunziata" Barolo (95RP, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Saving the very best for last, the 2007 Barolo Riserva Rocche dell’Annunziata is a gorgeous expression, with towering varietal characteristics that casts a long shadow. There’s so much going on in the glass: Prune, blackberry, cassis, dried herbs and licorice are beautifully woven together. The wine is firm and crisp in the mouth with perfectly integrated tannins. You can drink this wine in a few years, or decide to keep it for later. (ML)" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Sine Qua Non "Pictures" California Grenache (97RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 87% Grenache, 11.5% Syrah, and 1.5% Viognier, this wine has wonderful floral notes intermixed with black raspberries, black cherries, licorice, graphite and some camphor. In the mouth, more white chocolate notes appear, along with meatiness and some silky tannins. Its great purity, density and richness make me think this wine could even improve a few points and flirt with perfection. This stunning wine should drink nicely for another 10-15 years. (RP)" (08/2011)
Starting Bid: $605.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Domaine Dugat-Py Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru (95BH, 93WS, 91ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Here the nose is even more complex if less elegant and refined with a nuanced, layered and pure red berry fruit and a pungent earth component that also characterizes the velvety, seductive and supple flavors that possess so much sap that this could actually be drunk now with pleasure. However, the buried tannins are only temporarily hidden on the fantastically long finish and this will be capable of improving for years to come. " (01/2010)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Ornellaia" Bolgheri Superiore (99WE, 98JS, 97VN, 97WS). Wine Enthusiast: "The 2007 Ornellaia is a masterpiece blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a tiny element of Petit Verdot. The intensity and purity are outstanding and the wine delivers beautiful notes of chocolate, black cherry, leather, cedar and spice. It's a big, modern expression that closes long with luscious softness and opulent fruit. Hold 10 years or more. *Wine Enthusiast Best of 2011, Cellar Selection* " (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Castello del Terriccio Toscana (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Castello del Terriccio is another striking wine from Terriccio. It is naturally quite a bit more open than the two 2008s tasted alongside it because of the radiance of the year. Blackberries, spices, licorice, violets and tar are woven together in a seamless fabric of notable elegance and sheer class. The perception of tannin is barely noticeable. Readers will be tempted to drink the 2007 young, but my sense is that the wine is still at least a few years away from giving its all. (AG)" (06/2012)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (95VN, 95WE, 94RP, 93JS, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2007 Sassicaia (Cabernet Sauvignon) explodes onto the palate with masses of rich, opulent fruit that caress the palate with gorgeous length and a seamless beauty that is hard to fully capture. Dark wild cherries, plums, spices, minerals and herbs develop in the glass. This is an especially bold, perhaps slightly uncharacteristic Sassicaia in its extroverted personality, but it is beautiful all the same. The inner perfume and sweetness carries through the long finish, where the sheer weight and glycerol of the fruit leaves a lasting impression. The 2007 is more than a worthy follow-up to the profound 2006. . (AG)" (10/2010)
Starting Bid: $575.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 La Rioja Alta "904" Gran Reserva Rioja (97JS, 95JG, 95RP). James Suckling: "Wonderful purity of fruit with a strawberry, currant and plum character. Full and velvety body with ultra-fine tannins and a delicious fresh and fruity finish. Classic Rioja style. Que lindo!" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Le Macchiole "Paleo" Rosso Toscana (98WE, 95RP, 94ST, 94VN, 92JS, 91W&S). Wine Enthusiast: "Paleo (a pure expression of Cabernet Franc from Coastal Tuscany) is a drop dead gorgeous wine with amazing intensity and purity of aromas. You get it all here: Bright berry notes, drying mineral, exotic spice, cooling acidity and firm, satisfying structure. It’s a rich, velvety and beautiful wine that will award you a memorable drinking experience now or in 10 years time. *Cellar Selection* " (12/2010)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret (95CG, 95RP, 94WS, 93ST, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The two most expensive offerings include the 2007 Reserve Claret. Its opaque purple color is followed by a beautiful flowery nose revealing notions of blueberry pie, blackberries, cassis and a hint of vanillin in the background. An opulent, full-bodied red with great depth, purity and richness, it is a blend of 82% Sonoma fruit and 18% Napa fruit. The texture is like a skyscraper and the wine is plush, opulent and ideal for drinking over the next 10-15 years. (RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Keenan Spring Mountain District Cabernet Franc (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are just under 1, 000 cases of the 2007 Cabernet Franc, a wine that admirably demonstrates the heights to which this varietal can climb. A brilliant effort, it boasts elegant blue, red, and black fruit notes intermixed with abundant spring flower and forest floor aromas. Intense, yet light on its feet, medium to full-bodied, stylish, and gracious, it is a compelling example of Cabernet Franc from a high elevation (2, 000 feet) vineyard. As I have written in the past, Michael Keenan has done a fabulous job of ratcheting up the quality of the wines from this Spring Mountain estate. Some of the finest wines of Napa Valley are emerging from Robert Keenan Winery. (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Talley "Rosemary's Vineyard" Arroyo Grande Pinot Noir (97RP, 92ST, 92VN, 91BH, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This stunning effort is showing even better than it did when I reviewed it in August, 2010. Complexity, elegance, purity and stunning balance characterize this 2007. Its dense ruby/purple color is accompanied by a sweet perfume of pomegranate, plum, blueberry, forest floor, black cherries and black currants. Deep, medium to full-bodied, extremely well-focused and expressive, this terrific Pinot Noir is capable of lasting another 10-12 years. (RP)" (10/2011)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Le Macchiole "Messorio" Bolgheri (99WE, 96RP, 94JS, 93WS, 92ST). Wine Enthusiast: "Here’s a 'wow' wine you won’t easily forget. Messorio is all Merlot, and happily delivers the softness, richness and overall opulence that we love in this noble grape variety. What elevates this particular expression and vintage is the true elegance and sophistication evident here. This is a huge wine, but it’s not exaggerated and the finish is as long and smooth as they come. *Cellar Selection*" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $292.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96JD, 96RP, 96WS, 94ST, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Beaucastel’s 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape has turned out even better out of bottle than I predicted. An inky/ruby/purple color is followed by a glorious nose of blue and black fruits, truffles, pen ink, licorice, and meat juices as well as glorious levels of acidity and sweet tannin, buttressing the fruit’s fabulous freshness and vibrancy. This full-bodied effort still displays considerable tannin, no doubt because of the relatively high Mourvèdre content. It should resolve its tannins in 2-4 years, and last for 25 or more. (RP)" (10/2009)
