90 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An expressive and obviously ripe red Pinot and violet floral aromas without any hint of surmaturité gracefully introduce what is probably the most lush and opulent wine in the Copain range yet there is focus and definition here, particularly on the moderately structured finish that offers excellent intensity and fine depth. I like the mouth feel because even though there is ample richness here, the mid-palate doesn't lose focus. Lovely and long plus this will age." (10/2008) 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:...

93 points Wine Enthusiast: "Bottled unfiltered and unfined, this Merlot-Cab Franc blend has a wonderful floral fragrance, and then hits a core of rock and very tight, compact red fruits. It's dark and slow to open, but layered with nuances of graphite, dried herb, earth, black olive and spice. Black fruits include blackberry and black cherry, filling out a semi-sweet mid-palate. The tannins are polished and firm, with hints of coffee and bitter chocolate. *Editors' Choice* (PG)" (11/2008) 92 points Wine Spectator: "Bright and juicy, with focused blackb...

93 points Wine Enthusiast: "Made using classic Port grape varieties, this is rich and sweet, with chocolate, coffee, orange, plum and spice flavors. Crisp acidity provides needed balance. It shows a complexity that lifts it above the ordinary. Drink now-2015." (03/2013) 90 points Vinous: "Inky ruby. Exotically perfumed bouquet evokes cherry-cola, vanilla, singed plum and licorice, with notes of dried herbs and Indian spices adding complexity. Big, palate-coating and warm, offering syrupy dark fruit flavors and a supple, velvety texture. Finishes lon...

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Merus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS, 92RP, 92WS, 91CG). James Suckling: "This is really powerful on the nose, with reduced aromas of blackberries, raspberries and cherries. Full bodied, with loads of velvety tannins and a thick, jammy after taste. But it's balanced and pretty. " (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Cayuse "En Chamberlin" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (98RP, 93WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Syrah En Chamberlin Vineyard is even more complex aromatically (perhaps kinky is a better word) with its notes of crushed stone, smoked meat, well-aged game, blueberry, and black raspberry. Full-bodied, ripe, intensely flavored yet elegant, it has a 60-second finish that is pure silk. (JM)" (10/2009)
Starting Bid: $117.22

Bid on this magnum of 2006 O'Shaughnessy Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95RP, 92ST, 91CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A stunning effort is the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder. It exhibits blue and black fruits along with notions of licorice, graphite, and incense, a formidable array of concentrated fruit flavors, full-bodied power, a silkiness that is atypical for this vintage, and a long, 40+ second finish. This superb Cabernet Sauvignon can be drunk now or cellared for 15+ years. The wines for this serious Howell Mountain estate are made by Sean Capiaux of Capiaux Cellars. Production is limited to approximately 1, 000 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain (where they own 30 acres) and smaller amounts of the Mt. Veeder cuvee. (RP)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2006 Dunn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is quite a bit richer than the 2005 tasted alongside it. The 2006 shows gorgeous depth as it opens up in the glass. Dark fruit, licorice, smoke and tar are some of the notes that flesh out in this broad-shouldered Cabernet Sauvignon. A creamy, textured finish rounds things out in style. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2026. (AG)" (12/2011)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 99JS, 94RP, 94ST) in original wood. James Suckling: "Minerals, mint, and berries in the nose. Full, powerful, polished, with wonderfully dense tannins. The finish is long, long, long. This is amazing, I love the freshness and length. Very classy and elegant, wonderful stuff. I am wowed. Great length, it's muscular with wonderful definition." (04/2011)
Starting Bid: $1,307.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (98RP, 95WS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The deepest colored of the lineup, as well as the most powerful and concentrated, the 2006 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard is Hermitage-like with its dark, meaty core of fruit, iodine, chocolate and mineral-laced aromas and flavors. Not harvested until mid-October and aged in 15% new French oak barrels, this full-bodied, decadent and concentrated Syrah has another handful of years before hitting full-maturity, and will have 25+ years of ultimate longevity. It’s a tour de force in Syrah from Washington State! (JD)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (95CG, 95JS, 94W&S, 92RP, 92WE, 91VN, 91WS). James Suckling: "Bay leaf, dark fruits, and almonds on the nose. This wine is powerful, with a full body, and with flavors of mineral, mint, and lead pencil. I'm thinking Pauillac but tasting California. A very long finish, but needs some time." (04/2011)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Ferrari-Carano "Prevail - Back Forty" Alexander Valley Red Blend. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with Syrah and Cabernet Franc from Ferrari-Carano's estate mountain vineyards.
Starting Bid: $30.57

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Groth "Reserve" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 92WS, 91WE) in original wood. Wine Spectator: "This has a gravelly texture and chewy dark berry, spicy oak, anise and espresso notes, showing no signs of fading, and the core fruitiness remains vibrant. A solid, sturdy effort. (JL, Web-2016)"

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Kistler "Cuvée Elizabeth - Bodega Headlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir ((96-98RP), 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Pinot Noir Bodega Headlands Cuvée Elizabeth is undeniably a grand cru effort. Black raspberry, spring flower (violets), and kirsch aromas soar from the glass of this dark ruby/purple-tinged wine. Medium to full-bodied with zesty acidity, beautiful penetration, and a soaring mid-palate as well as length result in a prodigious example of Pinot Noir that should drink well for a decade or more. (RP)" (12/2007)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98VN, 95RP, 93JS, 93W&S, 92ST, 92WE). Vinous: "The 2006 Vecina is another fabulous wine. Fresh, delineated and pedigreed to the core, the 2006 exudes class. I am especially struck by how young the 2006 tastes. Along with the 2008, the 2006 belongs to the family of more mineral-driven Vecinas. (AG)" (11/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Hundred Acre "Ark Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP, 95ST) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Ark Vineyard has a medium garnet color and leaps from the glass with stunning black cherries and blackberry pie scents with crème de cassis and mocha plus touches of charcuterie and beef drippings. The palate is full-bodied, firm and built like a brick house with tons of savory layers and a provocatively ferrous-edged finish. (LPB)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Jarvis "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 96WE) in original wood. Wine Enthusiast: "This reserve tastes oakier and stronger than Jarvis's regular 2006 Cabernet. With near-perfect balance, this is awesome. Flavors of blackberries and black currants are complexed with minerals and herbs and indefinable things from the soil. It's hard in tannins and rich in spicy, smoky new oak. Hold until at least 2014, and it should continue to age well beyond that. *Cellar Selection*" (07/2012)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this magnum of 2006 Buccella "Cuvée Katrina Eileen" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5 L) in original wood. Buccella, which means "mouthful" in Latin, was founded in 2002 by Bill and Alicia Deem, who bonded over a bottle of Gaja on their first date back in 1990. That bottle not only sparked their love affair, but was the inspiration as they pursued their dream of making wine. This special cuvée is named after the owners' first-born daughter and comes from a vineyard in the western hills of Yountville. Miniscule yields and extremely rocky soils contribute to concentrated, complex Cabernet. According to the winery, "In German, the name 'Katrina' represents purity and, fittingly, this wine is made entirely from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape, providing a pure expression of this decadent varietal. It also reflects our daughter’s personality with flavors that are complex, unreserved and expressive."
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98WE, 96RP, 95VN, 94WS). Wine Enthusiast: "The 2006 flagship Cabernet from Quilceda Creek is a massive wine that has just begun to emerge from its slumber. When first released the wine seemed to have entered a dumb phase, but six months later it responds to decanting and shows its muscle. Fruit flavors of black, brandied cherries, cassis and bourbon-soaked plums are wrapped in generous, layered oak. The wine is dusty, smoky, laced with streaks of licorice and brightened with sharp acids. It continues to expand further in the glass, adding flesh and spice to its frame, with a cedar/cigar box finish. (PG)" (03/2010)
Starting Bid: $345.00

Bid on this magnum of 2006 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95WS, 94JS, 92CG). Wine Spectator: "Beautifully proportioned, rich in dark berry, dusty cedar and loamy earth, black licorice, herb, olive and tobacco notes, with all the pieces fitting together nicely, ending in a long, tapered aftertaste. (JL, Web-2016)"
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Stewart "Nomad" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 92RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Nomad (100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard - Clone 4) is slightly tighter, very much in keeping with the vintage. The tannins are more noticeable and the wine reveals classic notes of tobacco leaf, black currants, licorice and cedar. With a full-bodied, powerful but structured style, this wine needs a few more years of bottle age and should drink nicely for 15+ years. 92+ (RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this magnum of 2006 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (92WS, 90CG). Wine Spectator: "Full-blown, ripe and rich, with intense and sharply focused dried currant, wild berry and blackberry fruit that's still fairly tannic at this stage. Ends with a long, persistent finish. (JL)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 L'Aventure "Estate" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (92ST, 90RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep blackberry, cassis and graphite aromas are sharply delineated and pure. Luscious dark fruit flavors are enlivened by juicy acidity and firmed by fine-grained tannins, picking up licorice and candied floral qualities with air. The tannins fade into the fruit on the finish, which is spicy, focused and long. 'My concession to marketing, ' said Asseo, who believes that blends allow him to best express his limestone-based vineyard. (JR)" (11/2008)
Starting Bid: $40.00

Bid on this magnum of 2006 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (96JS, 96RP, 94ST, 93W&S, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Its dark plum/purple color is accompanied by aromas and flavors of truffles, forest floor, black cherries, black currants, and Asian spices. One of the finest wines of the vintage, it is complete, full-bodied, and seamlessly built with beautiful ripe tannins, low acidity, and a luscious, layered mouthfeel. The aromatics are even more evolved and complex than the 2005's. The 2006 should drink well for 20-25 years. (RP)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $419.00
