96-97 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From cask, Dauvissat’s 2006 Chablis Preuses smells of toasted grain, roasted nuts, pungent buckwheat, ripe peach, high-toned floral perfume suggesting gentian, and ocean breeze. An amazing depth of indescribable minerality – approximating meat stock and crustacean reduction, with suggestions of soy – saturates the palate, leading to a generous yet still mysteriously savory, mouth-watering finish that contrasts dramatically with the chalky, faintly bitter character of the La Forest. This should become an extrao...

99 points Decanter: "The first aromatic impression is surprisingly floral in the context of such a hot vintage, and then evolves to reveal elements of menthol, liquorice and yellow fruit. With aeration, the bouquet blossoms to reveal increasing complexity, including spicy notes. Fruit picked from favored blocks on Camp Meeting Ridge, now known as the Andreen Gale vineyard. The soils are uplifted marine sedimentary sandstone and volcanic rock at an elevation of 1,150 to 1,375 feet above sea level. Hand sorting and whole cluster pressing followed by fermentation with indigenous, native yeasts accompanied by regular battonage until the completion of the malolactic fermentation in the spring of 2007. Aged in 40% new French oak barrels for 11 months to produce a wine that has a gold tinge with oodles of citrus and honey fruit flavors...

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Domaine Leflaive Bienvenues Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru ((91-94BH), (93-94JG), 93ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Here the nose is quite similar to that of the Pucelles, particularly with its honeysuckle and citrus aromas that are perhaps ever so slightly less ripe while leading to rich, concentrated and slightly more focused and delineated medium full flavors that explode on the palate staining finish. I like the energy here as well as the underlying sense of harmony of expression. *Don't Miss!*" (07/2008)
