Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Veuve Clicquot "La Grande Dame" Brut Champagne (92RP, 92ST, 92WE, 91WS, 90W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine was recommended, but no tasting note was given. (RP)" (12/2002)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Paradis Casseuil, Bordeaux. The vineyard is located in the three districts of Casseuil, Caudrot, and Sainte-Foy-la-Longue in the appellation Entre-Deux-Mers. The red varietals are 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% of Cabernet Franc. And the white varietals are 60% of Semillion, 20% of Muscadelle and 20% of Sauvignon blanc.
Starting Bid: $21.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Emmanuel Rouget Échézeaux Grand Cru (91BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Remarkably supple and forward with elegant red fruits framed by traces of earth and a touch of oak followed by sweet, sappy, modulated, round flavors that offer excellent detail and fine length and the slight astringency that this displayed for years has finally rounded out. For my taste, this has arrived at its peak and while there is certainly no rush to drink up, neither is there any reason to hold for further upside development. Multiple, and consistent, notes." (06/2012)
Starting Bid: $1,210.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (95RP, 94WS, 92ST, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine of extraordinary intensity and accessibility, the 1995 Cos d'Estournel is a sexier, more hedonistic offering than the muscular, backward 1996. Opulent, with forward aromatics (gobs of black fruits intermixed with toasty pain grille scents and a boatload of spice), this terrific Cos possesses remarkable intensity, full body, and layers of jammy fruit nicely framed by the wine's new oak. Because of low acidity and sweet tannin, the 1995 will be difficult to resist young, although it will age for 2-3 decades. Anticipated maturity: 2001-2025. (RP)" (02/1998)
Starting Bid: $155.00

Bid on this half-bottle lot of 1995 Chapoutier "Vin de Paille" Hermitage Blanc (375ml) (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Chapoutier's 1995 and 1996 Hermitage Vin de Paille (2, 500 half-bottles were produced in each vintage) are extraordinary, nectar-like wines. They exhibit an orange marmalade, honeyed corn, super-sweet richness that is almost too intense to have with dessert. The 1996 possesses slightly better acidity; the 1995 is a heavier, fatter wine. These wines will last 50+ years. (RP)" (10/1997)
Starting Bid: $87.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti La Tâche Grand Cru (98RP, 96JG, 95ST, 95WS, 94BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Pale to medium ruby with a touch of brick. The La Tache gives very little on the nose to begin with but soon blossoms into the most incredible cherry compote, black truffle, cloves, loam, saucisson and tobacco leaf aromas. The palate shows exemplary structure and concentration, seamlessly knitting very crisp acidity with a firm level of very finely grained tannins and layer upon layer of complex fruit, mineral and game flavours. Very long finish. This wine has many great years left and will generously reward the patient. (LPB)" (05/2010)
Starting Bid: $3,680.00
