The fabulous program from the Sazerac Company offers us a chance to bring our bourbon selections to further use in Jalisco. 98 points Wine Enthusiast: "A stunning limited-edition añejo. The golden color and caramel scent hint at what’s to come: sweet agave flavor, a lingering whisper of smoke and mellow notes of tropical fruit, Sauternes and butterscotch. (KN)" (05/2011) K&L Notes: Cannot be shipped, will call pick up only. Don Julio is particularly proud of this limited-edition Añejo, and rightfully so: "I established my first tequila distillery in 1942 and to commemorate that very special year, I have created Don Julio 1942 as a unique and limited edition and I personally...

The synergies between Sazerac's whisky operations at Buffalo Trace and their Tequila operations at San Matias are paying big dividends to anyone paying attention. While the Corazon tequilas are beautifully agave forward, the boomerang barrels they do lean slighly more into the wood profile because they have such high quality whisky barrels to work with. Yet they don't give up that beautiful agave fruit. Here we have a Los Altos estate produced Anejo aged in a choice Colonel E.H. Taylor Bourbon barrel that combines sweet cooked agave and natural vanillins...

91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Though it's made with ancho chiles, this liqueur is modest on the spice scale. Caramel-y brown in the glass, look for a lightly herbaceous aroma similar to root beer and rounded flavors that mix caramel and cocoa with raisin and cinnamon heat, with a faint smokiness on the finish. Particularly harmonious mixed in cocktails with brown spirits like whiskey. (KN)" (02/2016) K&L Notes: Ancho Reyes® Barrica is a limited edition, extraordinary dark spirit, carefully handcrafted in the city of Puebla de Zaragoza, Mexico. This barre...

Onofre was born in Bramaderos, Miahuatlán in June 1981. He is the son of Don Alberto Ortiz and Doña Elena Bernardina Ortiz Franco, who are also from Bramaderos. His grandfather Rutilo Ortiz Ibarra and his great-grandfather Julian Ortiz were also dedicated to the production of Mezcal, although only for personal and family consumption since in those years its sale was minimal. For many years, Onofre has produced mezcal using the palenque that his father built. He has an underground oven that can hold 14 tons of agave, 8 encino and pine tinas or fermentatio...

21 Seeds was started by 2 sisters and a best friend looking to create something they'd love to drink. The result is an all natural, craft-infused tequila at a slightly lower ABV for a great refreshing low calorie cocktail. They partnered with an award winning female owned distillery in Jalisco and dialed in the perfect recipe. Using ripe hand picked fruit they infuse a lovely blanco tequila with the freshest ingredients. These classic combinations are basically a cocktail in themselves, but all pair perfeclty with ice and a mixer or a splash of your favo...

Tepache is a category of fermented beverage with a long history and a wide set of traditions dating back to pre-Columbian Mexico. The pineapples are sourced from local farms in Bahia de Banderas - 85% of which come from within 50km of the tepacheria. Those pineapples are washed and milled before being gently pneumati...
