94 points Vinous: "An enticing blend of dried roses, peppery spice and woodland berries wafts up from the 2022 Pinot Noir Freedom Hill Vineyard. This is vividly fruit-focused yet crisp in feel, with tactile minerals adding a crunchy sensation as tart red and blue fruits swirl throughout. It tapers off youthfully tense, leaving a staining of primary concentration while silty tannins frame the experience well. (EG)" (05/2024) 93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2022 Pinot Noir Freedom Hill Vineyard pours a vibrant ruby/magenta color and is highly expressive in t...

91 points Wine Advocate: "The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Corbeaux unfurls in the glass with notes of cherries, wild berries, candied peel, burning embers and licorice. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, lively and succulent, with an ample and juicy core of fruit and powdery structuring tannins. (WK)" (02/2020)

Since 2002 Domaine Séailles is officially certified as organic in all of their wine and Armagnac production. They've foresworn chemicals pesticides and artificial fertilizers and instead opt for a biodynamic approach. While the brandies that have been made this way are still quite young by many Armagnac standards, they are lively, bright, and delicious in their own right (not to mention showing tremendous aging potential). If you're looking for a punchy young Armagnac with crystal-clear fruit and excellent pedigree, combined with a stewardship of the env...

Michael Cooper is the winemaker at Vinos del Viento. A native to Southern California he moved to Spain 20 years to follow his heart. Along his journey he became enamored with Garnacha. Vinos del Viento has always been about exploring and expressing the variety of Terroirs and varietals in his new home, Aragon, and its neighbor Catalonia. He has recently established his own winery after years of making wine throughout the region in other people's facilities. With a base in Campo de Borja, he has started to focus his attention there, with its old bush vine...

94 points Decanter: "Fermented with its indigenous yeast and macerated for 40 days with a submerged cap, then aged in large oak casks for 24 months. The fruit is restrained, cherry kernel-like, with sweet violet, balsamic hints and rhubarb minerality. Savoury on the palate, it shows velvety tannins of significant extraction with long-lasting acidity. A wine focused on the roots rather than on the fruits; restrained, mineral and of great austere elegance. (AF)" (01/2023) 94 points James Suckling: "Lemon blossom with cherry and sliced strawberry aromas t...

2018 Hospices de Beaune (Domaine Coche-Dury) Pommard 1er Cru "Epenots Dom Goblet" (Previously $2000)
90 points Burghound: "An attractively fresh nose is comprised by notes of both red and dark currant, earth and a whiff of oak. The medium weight flavors possess reasonably good underlying tension and complexity though the finish, while reasonably persistent, is slightly drying. There are aspects to admire but it would be fair to say that the balance isn't quite completely dialed in." (04/2020)

94 points Burghound: "A deft touch of wood sets off markedly spicy aromas of dark berry fruit coulis, sandalwood and exotic tea. The nicely concentrated and quite stylish flavors are at once caressing but punchy with a lovely texture on the balanced and lingering finish that flashes a touch of austerity. This too could use better depth, but more will almost certainly develop in time given the quality of the underlying material." (04/2022) K&L Notes: 93-95 points Jasper Morris for Inside Burgundy: "No doubting the density of the colour here. High toned ...

The terrific canned cocktails from Red Saint use original blends of teas from around the world and their own unique recipes. This isn't someone just trying to make a canned margarita or G&T. This is what the RTD revolution should be about - interesting drinks that just work from a can. Only 5% ABV and 110 calories but a hell of a lot better and more interesting than a Whiteclaw.

From a beautiful vineyard, right next-door to Kistler, 600-800 feet up Sonoma Mountain. These vines, now 40 years old, were taken as selection massale cuttings from the famed, now ripped-out, Chuy's Vineyard across the valley on Moon Mountain. The roots delve deep into red volcanic soils whilst this heritage selection "clone" produces a small yet concentrated crop. The wine is spontaneously fermented in mostly neutral French oak. Only 110 cases were produced.

21 Seeds was started by 2 sisters and a best friend looking to create something they'd love to drink. The result is an all natural, craft-infused tequila at a slightly lower ABV for a great refreshing low calorie cocktail. They partnered with an award winning female owned distillery in Jalisco and dialed in the perfect recipe. Using ripe hand picked fruit they infuse a lovely blanco tequila with the freshest ingredients. These classic combinations are basically a cocktail in themselves, but all pair perfeclty with ice and a mixer or a splash of your favo...

92 points Burghound: "Note: from young vines of around 15 years of age. Here too the nose is distinctly floral in character with equally cool and pure aromas of the essence of red currant, cherry and a whiff of forest floor. Once again there is really lovely texture to the muscular bigger-bodied flavors that conclude in a serious, compact and mildly austere finish. This won't win any awards for refinement, but elegance isn't why one buys Vercots. Moreover, Vercots is always better in cooler vintages and 2021 proves that point. *Burghound Sweet Spot Outst...

From the brewery: A cold bottle coated in condensation sits on the arm rest of your wooden patio chair while you lean back to feel the warm wood on your shoulders. The sun hits your face shining above the Skyline Mountains, and an invisible breeze slightly cools the beads of sweat above your brow revived by the summer heat. You open the bottle, hearing the hiss of carbonation and pour it into your chilled glass, releasing the fresh mango aroma. This isn't your typical summer beer. Optimally enjoyed ice cold, the newest release in the Indulgence Series s...

Foeder-fermented sour ale w/ mango, black lime & ginger From the brewery: "This foeder-fermented sour ale features an amalgam of dried black limes, ginger, and mango. Each sip follows a palindromic arc — black lime! then ginger! then mango! then ginger! then black lime! — with a through line of puckering, tight acidity from start to finish."
