Produced from Loureiro and Pederña grapes grown in the granitic soils of the Vinho Verde region, the Santola (or as we here are calling it, "the crab wine") is a delicious, spritely and refreshing white. It doesn't get much more traditional, thirst-quenching or seasonally perfect then this wine. Delicious, low in alcohol, slightly fizzy and way too easy to drink!

Just in time for the summer we have found this new Vinho Verde. A blend of 50% Loureiro, 30% Arinto and 20% Trejadura this has everything that you could want from a Vinho Verde and more. This Chardonnay is produced by the three brothers Couillaud at the Château de la Ragotière, a few minutes from the Atlantic near the mouth of the Loire River, where the maritime climate is ideal for producing whites that are refreshing and bright. The Couillauds age most of this wine on its lees until bottling to add weight and texture with around 10% being barrel-fermented in French oak for the faintest touch of toastiness. Saveur magazine wrote about a previous vintage: "This value-priced Chardonnay tastes crisp and bright. It comes from the western Lo...

This delightful salmon-pink wine is produced using the traditional saignée process. After macerating on the skins for approximately 10 hours, the juice is then pumped off and fermented in temperature-controlled, stainless steel tanks. Aromatics of strawberries and crushed red fruit leap from the glass. In the mouth, it is fresh with excellent acidity, some mineral components and good length. Very food friendly, it is a great companion to just about anything you want to throw at it.

2020 Domaine de Millet Côtes de Gascogne Blanc
Back In Stock!
Côtes de Gascogne is primarily known for the production of Armagnac; it wasn’t until the last 20 years or so that producers began to take table wine production seriously. Traditionally, these wines would have been distilled into Armagnac. Producers found that by fermenting at lower temperatures in stainless steel, they could develop and preserve more powerful aromatics. Though yields are high, costs have stayed low and the wines are consequently some of the best bargain whites in France. Domaine de Millet is first and foremost a fifth-generation Armagnac...

Jancis Robinson: "Lemon curd and fat, yellow, spring blossom. Plump-cheeked and generous, honeyed florals and drippingly ripe white peaches. I'd want to drink this on a hot day with a picnic by the side of the Canal du Midi, under the shade of tall plane trees, watching boats lazily motor by manned by sunburned men with big round bellies. (TC)" (03/2020) K&L Notes: A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Muscat and Grenache Gris. An enticing entry level wine from one of the Languedoc's most prestigious producers, Chateau de la Négly. All made in stain...

The motto: Optimism, beats the pants off pessimism. The goals is for the wines to be an honest path for wine drinkers to delve into the special world of premium South African wines over time. Still family-owned in Mendocino's Anderson Valley, Husch has been producing Sauvignon Blanc since 1980. They source this wine from their partners down the hill in between Ukiah and Hopland. Although here it's not called the Russian River Valley appellation, La Ribera vineyard sits, indeed, right by the Russian River. Winery notes: "Husch's 2019 Sauvignon Blanc follows our classic style. Lively aromas of grapefruit, lemongrass, ripe honeydew, guava and gooseberry leap from the glass. The wine is crisp and refreshing with flavors that jive with the aromas ...

Salt Point is a small company based in Mill Valley, CA that is changing the way people drink at home and on the go by creating a consistently delicious cocktail in a can. It's been a rough go for canned cocktails so far. It's definitley a growing category, but generally they're an afterthought of a giant drinks conglomerate. They source only the highest quality non-GMO ingredients and focus on balance above all else. Heather Wyatt, th...

This beautiful still rosé was fermented and aged in stainless steel to keep the wine crisp and bright, then fined and filtered. Aromas of rose petals, violets, ripe strawberry, fresh sage, saline minerality.
