Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2015 Domaine Gerard Raphet Clos Vougeot Grand Cru "Cuvée Unique" Vieilles Vignes ((90-93BH)) and 1-bottle of 2017 Domaine Gerard Raphet Clos Vougeot Grand Cru "Cuvée Unique" Vieilles Vignes ((91-93BH)). Of the 2015 Domaine Gerard Raphet Clos Vougeot Grand Cru "Cuvée Unique" Vieilles Vignes,Allen Meadows - Burghound writes: "Like the Gevrey villages the aromatic profile is relatively high-toned with its red cherry, pomegranate and raspberry-scented nose that is sprinkled with hints of earth and humus. There is both good energy and detail to the medium weight flavors that possess a quite supple mid-palate though the youthfully austere finish tightens up enough to suggest that this should reward mid-term cellaring." Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne (100JD, 100JS, 99DC, 99JG, 99VN, 98RP, 98WE, 97WS). James Suckling: "Disgorged October 2016 and will be the first Cristal to be released ten years from harvest when it is offered in 2018. 35 parcels used from a possible 45 in this vintage. The assemblage is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. This is so fresh and tense and mineral with extremely exuberant Chardonnay notes on the nose of white peach, lemon and yellow grapefruit, and hints of almost brambly sous bois aromas. The yeast characters are also super fresh, and there are subtle woody notes, with a hint of vanilla bean and light spices. The palate is super long, and very pure, powerful and focused. It drives deep and taut. Pinot Noir is a strong core and the Chardonnay sits at the edge offering lemon and white nectarine sorbet flavors. Staggeringly concentrated, yet the balance makes it seem airy and light. Acidity is perfectly positioned, and the power is i

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis 1er Cru "La Forest" ((93-95VN), (93-94JS), 93BH, 93JD, 93JG, 93RP, 90WS). Vinous: "The 2018 Chablis La Forest 1er Cru is a big step up in all dimensions from the preceding 1ers in the cellar. Powerful, rich and also intensely mineral, the Forest is so vivid and so inviting. All the signatures of this site as interpreted by Vincent Dauvissat are ampled up in large-scaled Chablis endowed with tremendous personality and class. In a word: superb. (AG)" (01/2020)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Sine Qua Non "Pajarito del Amor - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache (100JD, 100RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 85.4% Grenache, 7.1% Petite Sirah, 6.9% Syrah and 0.6% Viognier, employing 56% whole cluster, the nose of this opaque, garnet-purple colored uber-Grenache completely explodes with a candied violets, mandarin peel and Indian spices perfume, giving way to a core of bursting-ripe red berries—redcurrants, Morello cherries and raspberries—with an undercurrent of earth, earth and more sweet, fragrant earth. The numbers are telling me this is a full-bodied wine (16.9% alcohol), but the palate is deceptively ethereal, possessing more of a medium to full-bodied feel, thanks in part to bags of well-integrated freshness and fantastic harmony, with soft, silt-like tannins, finishing with loads of savory layers and a fragrant, floral breeze. Yowza, that's good. (LPB)" (08/2020)

Bid on this bottle of 1998 Domaine Dujac Echézeaux Grand Cru . Domaine Dujac was born in 1967 when Jacques Seysses bought the 11-acre Domaine Marcel Graillet in Morey-St-Denis, adding plots in some of Burgundy's most famous vineyards over the years, including less than a hectare of vines in the Echézeaux Grand Cru in 1969. Critic Clive Coates wrote of the 1998 Dujac Echézeaux after a tasting in 2009: "Medium-full colour. Just a little fresher-looking than the 1996. Richer and more vigorous on the nose, with a touch of mocha. Fresh. Profound. Fullish body. Very ripe. Lovely fruit. No austerity. Better than the 1996. Very long and harmonious. Fine plus. Now-2018 plus.
