91 points Decanter: "Produced since the 1989 vintage, Arnaldo Caprai's Grecante is a fresh expression of Grechetto aged for a brief three months in steel and three months in bottle. It's a herbal, lemon-scented white with streaks of lime, gooseberry and tropical fruit. In the mouth it's intense with good acidity and spiky citrus flavours on the attack, tempered by a round, creamy palate. Minerally and herbal, it has mid-palate notes of gooseberry, peppery spice and yellow fruits leading to a long, fresh finish. Ideal with grilled seafood. (JB)" (05/2021)...

90 points Vinous: "Dried flowers and crushed rocks blow off to reveal a core of musky black currants as the 2018 Montefalco Rosso opens in the glass. It’s rich and potent on the palate, with saturating dark red fruits and sweet balsamic spices. Through it all, brisk acids maintain fantastic balance. The 2018 finishes structured with a mineral-tinge and hints of cocoa that slowly fade. (EG)" (11/2022)

92 points Vinous: "The 2018 Montefalco Sagrantino is youthfully poised, opening slowly in the glass to notes of lavender, plum, crushed rocks and a hint of tangerine. It’s silky-smooth and deeply textural, casting fleshy waves of ripe blackberries and exotic spices across the palate, and a classically austere coating of fine tannin saturates toward the close. This is massively structured, as a young Sagrantino should be, and persistent, tapering off with tart wild berries, licorice and a bitter twang of dark chocolate. Very nice. (EG)" (08/2021)

All grapes and olives are harvested by hand with care and attention. The flavor of our wine is imbedded in the soil, as well as within our agricultural tradition. It emanates from our commitment to working with the rhythms and inconsistencies of nature, rather than trying to manipulate it. Our presence in our vineyards is consistent and vibrant. An active and delicate vigilance allows us to intervene minimally ...

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2017 Arnaldo-Caprai "Grecante" Grechetto dei Colli Martani (90JS). James Suckling: "Attractive fresh-pineapple character, but without pineapple’s strident acidity. The delicate hint of smoke really adds something and the finish is super-harmonious, if a bit short. " (11/2018)
