95 points James Suckling: "A very cool and tightly-wound Rheingau Auslese that will needs some further bottle age to reveal its considerable depths. At the moment the main aromas are caramelized red apple brioche and mangosteen, which might sound like a weird combination, but works extremely well. Long, finely chiselled finish. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2026. Glass stopper. 91 points Vinous: "The 2021 Riesling Martinsthaler Rödchen Auslese trocken is grown on deep, stony, loam-loess soils. It first hits the nose with a touch of lees, followed by bright, vivid lemon. The palate is also bright and lemony, all bedded on lees, with a hue of apricot alongside the lemony brightness and clarity. The zestiness on the palate leads to a very dry finish. (Bone-dry) (AK) " (08/2023)

93 points Vinous: "The 2021 Riesling Wallufer Oberberg Spätlese is shy on the nose, shimmering with an aglint of grapefruit peel. The palate has a lovely creaminess that embraces the gentle orange-flesh-like sweetness. The supple palate ripples off gentle yeast. This is a very mild, off-dry Spätlese that seems a total classic. The finish coalesces around yeast. All is an understatement, with 33g/L of residual sweetness pitched against a thrilling 9.3g/L of acidity. (Off-dry) (AK) " (08/2023)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Robert Weil Kiedricher Gräfenberg Riesling Spätlese Rheingau (95RP, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "When we come to the 2004 Kiedricher Grafenberg Spatlese, we are in a different realm from any of the wines that preceded it. Indeed, this not only stands comparison to several of the best Grafenberg Spatlesen of the Wilhelm Weil era, but strikes me as the single best Grafenberg Spatlese thus far. The nose is assaulted by a heady mixture of musky florality, brine and iodine minerality, white raisin, and orchard fruits ripe almost to the point of over-the-top decadence. On the palate, these flowers, yellow plum, quince, and white peach seethe with flavor, their being lashed to a formidable mineral base seemingly the only thing that restrains their eruption.(DS)" (10/2005)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Robert Weil Kiedricher Gräfenberg Riesling Spätlese (94WS, 92RP). Wine Spectator: "Silky, rich and packed with flavor, this glides across the palate, unfurling its apricot, honey and lemon notes gracefully. It's backed by a vibrant structure and coasts effortlessly to a lingering finish. *Highly Recommended* (BS)" (03/2004)
