91 points Wine Spectator: "Jasmine and mustard seed notes lead the way here, backed by a mix of yellow apple, Mirabelle plum and citrus oil flavors. Shows good intensity through the finish. " K&L Notes: This is the winery's first label under the Seneca Lake AVA—in this vintage, they chose not to make their top cuvée, Les Alliés Riesling, and de-classified the fruit. Result is a great Finger Lakes Riesling at an even better price!

Wine Enthusiast: "Demure aromas of lemon peel and white blossoms carry to the broad, rounded palate. Bits of warm spice chime in, but the fruit remains upfront. There’s a waxy sheen to the feel, with pithy acidity lifting it all up. (AP)" (04/2021)

McKenzie Bottled in Bond Wheated Bourbon Whiskey (750ml)
Top Pick!
One of New York state's best craft distilleries delivers a masterpiece with a bottled in bond wheated bourbon. 90 points Wine Enthusiast: "The nose of this dry Riesling is zesty lemon-lime, with a pronounced white blossom tone lingering in the background. Linear and focused on the palate, it shows a clean citrus and apple flavors that are accented by crushed stone. Bright acidity keeps it lively, with a slight stony grip to the close. (AP)" (08/2020)

Terrassen is the wine project of noted sommelier Thomas Pastuszak. From the producer: "Gamay sourced from a 20-year-old vineyard (Beaujolais cuttings) on the West Side of Cayuga Lake (our friends at Sheldrake Point Winery, in Ovid, NY), planted on limestone, clay & shale. Harvest followed by gentle foot-trodding and a 9-day cold-soak (partial Carbonic Maceration). 100% Whole Cluster, fermented half with Indigenous Yeasts and half with a Burgundy yeast for nearly 2 months in open-top fermenters, 2x daily punch-downs. Moved to old barrique for malolactic f...

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "Well-concentrated aromas of apple and peach meld with crushed stone and yellow blossoms on the nose. There’s a real sense of energy and lift to the deft palate, where juicy shots of tangerine and pome fruit are lifted by vibrant acidity. The fruit lingers on the finish but with substantial lift.
