Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93WS, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "1995 was a warmer vintage of lower yields from poor fruit set. The result is a relatively generous Georges de Latour Private reserve with lower acidity and a rich, opulent fruit profile. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 22 months in 100% new oak (55% French and 45% American), the 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve Georges de Latour has a medium to deep brick color with expressive dried blackberries, Black Forest cake and crème de cassis notes plus hints of cigar box, bouquet garni and coffee beans. Full-bodied (the alcohol is 13.9%), concentrated, firm and grainy, the palate delivers loads of relatively youthful fruit, with seamless freshness, finishing long and spicy. (LPB)" (05/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Colgin "Tychson Hill Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The berries at Tychson Hill vineyard were very small in 2017. “This wine totally required baby steps with the extraction, ” said winemaker Allison Tauziet. Very deep purple-black in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill Vineyard leaps from the glass with vibrant black cherries, warm blackberries and blackcurrant scents with hints of violets, dark chocolate, lavender and camphor plus a fragrant waft of rose hip tea. Medium to full-bodied, the structure is taut, restraining all the tightly packed, energetic black fruit layers, with a wonderfully fine-grained texture and bags of freshness, finishing long and mineral laced. Still very tightly wound, this one needs time, but it should handsomely reward patience. (LPB)" (10/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96WS). Wine Spectator: "Lewis Cellars favors full-throttle Cabernet, yet for all their density and depth of flavor, the wines are graceful and refined, balancing size and elegance. Lewis harvests Cabernet from a collection of hillside and benchland vineyards in the Napa Valley subappellations of Calistoga, Rutherford and Oak Knoll, and the winemaking team selects the best lots for the Reserve. A blend of 98 percent Cabernet and 2 percent Petit Verdot, it aged 20 months in new French oak. Bold, rich and complex, yet delicate and graceful, featuring finely detailed currant, dark berry and licorice notes, with jazzy spice and mocha-scented oak leading to a long, firming finish that gains depth and dimension. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Hewitt Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (93WE, 93WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Ripe and creamy, this has a toffee flavor from its barrel aging. Give it until 2016 or so to begin developing bottle complexity. *Cellar Selection* " (08/2012)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 GKG Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A joint project between the creative Dave Phinney and famous photographer Greg Gorman, this blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec was aged 18 months in two-thirds new French oak. The wine is dense purple and shows good, sweet blackcurrant fruit along with some notes of pen ink and camphor, followed by a medium to full-bodied, silky textured, opulent and luscious wine. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 96JS, 94VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon emerges from another first-growth vineyard that was acquired by Andy Beckstoffer in 1993, and planted with multiple clones of Cabernet Sauvignon and a small amount of Cabernet Franc. The original vineyard was planted in 1868, but the present one consists of nearly 90 acres. The 2012 reveals incredible complexity and density with notes of Christmas fruitcake, baking spices, licorice, crème de cassis and forest floor. Full-bodied with the vintage’s opulence and drama, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was fashioned from Clones 4 and 337. (RP) 97+" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, it rolls sensuously out of the glass with decadent scents of boysenberries, black cherries, redcurrant jelly and blackcurrant pastilles with hints of bouquet garni, black soil and iron ore. Full-bodied, the taut, tightly knit black and red fruit has a firm structure of ripe, grainy tannins and bags of freshness, finishing very long with loads of earth and mineral nuances coming through. (LPB) 98+" (10/2020)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Bevan "Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another look at perfection is the 350-case cuvée of 2014 Sugarloaf Mountain Proprietary Red. This is a Cheval Blanc-like blend of 57% Cabernet Franc and 43% Merlot aged in Gamba and Darnajou barrels. I don’t know anyone making wine from this particular rockpile in the southeastern hillsides of Napa, but Bevan has certainly found an unreal terroir to exploit. Unbelievable aromatics – going the full spectrum of red, blue and black fruits to spring flowers to earthy charcoal embers and incense – are followed by a wine of magnificent intensity, fabulous purity and full-bodied, almost unctuous, texture. Yet, the wine has the balance of a world-class ballerina. This is deep, rich, showing incredibly well already, and therefore hard to resist. It could last for 20+ years in a cold cellar, but why wait? (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $370.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Lewis Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94WS). Wine Spectator: "Beautifully proportioned, with a rich mix of currant, blackberry, dried herb, mocha, cedar and tobacco flavors. Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Quivet "Pellet Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JD, 93RP, 93VN). Vinous: "Violets, lavender, smoke, plums and licorice are all laced together in the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Pellet Vineyard. This is an especially lifted, aromatic wine for this part of St. Helena, where vineyards sites are generally quite warm. Even with all of its obvious ripeness and raciness, the Pellet remains precise, nuanced and strikingly beautiful. This is a terrific showing from Quivet and winemaker Mike Smith. (AG)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Myriad "Three Twins Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93JS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard emerges from a site that winemaker Mike Smith has found in Conn Valley. The wine shows a more earthy side to his brilliant winemaking skills, showing blueberry and blackberry fruit, but there is more of an underlying minerality and loamy soil, earthiness. It is full-bodied, rich, pure, and multilayered aa well as textured. It should drink well for at least 20-25 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $225.00

It offers a big, generous, supple mouthful of Cabernet fruit bolstered by adequate acidity. It is framed nicely by the vanillin notes of American oak. This is an elegant, smooth and forward Cabernet. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1994 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium brick colored, it opens with expressive scents of stewed tea, redcurrant jelly, potpourri and dried mint with touches of dusty soil, bay leaves and smoked meats. Medium-bodied with well-sustained intensity in the mid-palate, it has a satiny texture and beautifully pure, perfumed red fruits with a mineral kick on the long finish. (LPB)" (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 5 liter of 1998 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (5L) (OWC - 97VN) in original wood. Vinous: "Ironically, the 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain from a much weaker vintage than 1997 on paper, is a much more interesting wine. Huge and explosive on the palate, the 1998 boasts serious depth and concentration. Iron, smoke, anise and dark red/blackish fruit all swirl around in the glass in a striking, nuanced Cabernet that is among the wines of the year in Napa Valley. If there is a dark horse in this tasting, the 1998 is it. Beautiful. (AG)" (02/2014)
Starting Bid: $865.00

Bid on this bottle of 1974 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 100VN, 97JD, 95JG). Vinous: "I have been fortunate to drink the 1974 Monte Bello three times in the last year. I served this bottle, from my cellar, blind to a group of hard-core Francophiles at the end of a dinner that showcased the best of Burgundy and Bordeaux. Every person in the room thought the wine was Bordeaux. No one came close to guessing California, much less identifying the age of the wine or the vintage. When the 1974 Monte Bello was revealed, there was only silence at the table. Tasted from a perfect bottle, the 1974 remains almost unnaturally deep, powerful and intense. It is an eternal wine whose life will only be determined by how well corks hold up. Put simply, the 1974 Monte Bello is one of the greatest and most singular wines I have ever tasted from any region in the world. (AG)" (07/2016)
Starting Bid: $1,545.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97RP, 97VN). Vinous: "The 2017 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon is stunning. Seamless on the palate, with remarkable depth and richness, the 2017 has so much to offer. Black cherry jam, blackberry, chocolate, licorice, spice and menthol build in a rich, sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon that hits all the right notes. Best of all, the 2017 will drink well with only minimal cellaring. It is without question one of the wines of the vintage. (AG)" (01/2020)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1996 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91WS). (JS)" (02/2000)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 ZD "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. ZD Wines was established in 1969 by former aerospace engineers Norman DeLeuze and Gino Zepponi. They named the wine ZD, not only to signify the initials of their last names, but also as an acronym for "zero defects"—a term used in the quality control program at their former job at Aerojet. Zepponi unfortunately died in 1985, and DeLeuze and his family took full ownership. Fruit for the Reserve bottling comes in part from ZD's estate vineyards, organically farmed since the 1980s. Each lot is individually fermented, aged one year in American oak before a final blending followed by an additional two years aging in the same barrels before bottling and release.
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1987 Mount Veeder Napa Valley Meritage. Mount Veeder Winery is a dramatic estate with three vineyards carved high in the hillsides of the Mayacamas Mountains, overlooking southern Napa Valley. The property totals 121 acres, mostly forest and brush, out of which only 47 are planted to vine.Vines ranging from 1, 000–1, 600 feet in elevation cling to rugged, steep slopes that offer cool conditions that lead to slow ripening, which extends the growing season. Mount Veeder is usually the last to harvest in Napa Valley. The result is fruit with highly concentrated flavors - big, bold and brambly - a Cab lover's feast.Mount Veeder Winery was the first in Napa Valley to plant all five red Bordeaux varieties in the same vineyard. Its expertise with these grapes is manifest in Mount Veeder Winery Reserve, a meritage blend of these noble grapes, which are still grown on the property.

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1992 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1992 Les Pavots, reminiscent of a top-class St.-Julien/Pauillac, is the first vintage that has begun to exhibit some complex cedar, lead pencil, and cassis aromas. Medium to full-bodied, with impressive richness, this layered, intense yet balanced wine still needs another 2-3 years of cellaring, although it reveals more immediate charm and secondary aromas than its three younger siblings. It is a wine that will last for at least 20+ years. The blend for Peter Michael's Les Pavots proprietary red wine varies year to year, but the composition usually includes at least 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5%-15% Merlot, and 5%-15% Cabernet Franc. Sixty percent new French oak casks are utilized. The result is a wine that comes as close as any other California Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine to resembling a structured, rich, complex St.-Julien/Pauillac. (RP)" (12/1996)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Bevan "Ontogeny" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Ontogeny Red Wine is a blend of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with lesser portions of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Deep garnet in color with a touch brick, it wafts from the glass with a fragrant perfume of Morello cherries, spice cake and preserved plums, plus underlying suggestions of cigar box, tree bark and pencil lead. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers maturing black and red fruit preserves layers with loads of spicy sparks and a chewy texture, finishing long with a compelling lift. (LPB)" (02/2021)

Ken's Wine Guide rates this wine as very good+ and 91 points: "This pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Tom Eddy opens with mild black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with notes of oak and black currant and a hint of blueberry. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and moderate tannins fade away nicely." (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Realm "The Absurd" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100RP, 95JS). It saunters confidently out of the glass with compelling notes of warm black plums, blackcurrant cordial, Morello cherries and black raspberries followed by an opulent perfume of exotic spices, dusty soil, rose oil and crushed rocks with a waft of sandalwood. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2002 Carini Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Carini Wine is a two-person operation run by owners Andrew and Shawnee Carini out of Trinity County California. They source grapes from some of California's finest vineyards, practicing winemaking that is low-tech and Old-World in style. The fruit for this wine was sourced from a vineyard located at the corner of the Oakville Crossroad and the Silverado Trail. Tasting note from the producer: "An Inky ruby/purple color with room filling aromatics that include crème de cassis, tobacco leaf, licorice, smoky oak, and cedar. Once you’ve got your mouth on it, the flavors continue and expand into blackberries, red and black currants, with hints of earth, tobacco and mint. Full bodied and dense with balanced acidity and smooth as silk tannins that have melted into the wine as it has aged for the past 10+ years in the bottle, in our cellar."

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 93RP, 93WS, 91CG). Vinous: "Dark, bright ruby-red, showing virtually no evolution at the rim. The nose offers complex, musky scents of dark plum, mocha and graphite, plus a suggestion of tobacco. At once compellingly generous, shapely and firm, this seamless wine is remarkably balanced for its extreme growing season, offering sound framing acidity and beautifully incorporated oak. The explosive finish deliver terrific energy and harmonious tannins. This gives pleasure now but should evolve in bottle for another 15 to 20 years. Incidentally, this was the first Georges de Latour made in Beaulieu's new dedicated facility. (ST)" (04/2019)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
