96 points Wine Enthusiast: "This is full of fruit and weighty tannins. Coming from one of the finest vineyards in Burgundy, it is going to have great power and an opulent nature. This wine also has elegance, its black fruits controlled and with a mineral edge. That doesn't take away the power, it enhances the stylishness of this grand wine. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (09/2014) 95 points John Gilman: "The 2011 Rossignol-Trapet Chambertin is also a very, very fine bottle in the making. The deep, pure and youthful nose wafts from the glass in a mix of red a...

2011 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Back In Stock!
96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Reminding me of a top 2010 Châteauneuf du Pape (the 2010 Raymond Usseglio Cuvée Imperiale to be exact), the 2011 James Berry Vineyard is a blend of 69% Grenache, 13% Mourvèdre, 13% Syrah, 2% Counoise, and a splash of Roussanne, that was aged in a combination of concrete (Grenache) and larger oak puncheons. A fresh, detailed and more elegant example of the cuvée, it offers gorgeous notes of ripe berry fruit, loads of exotic spice, violets, pepper and lavender to go with a full-bodied, beautifully pure and layered ...

98 points Bob Campbell: "Tasted alongside the Old Weka Pass Road there was a clear family resemblance with both wines expressing similar tautness, purity and minerality but this more expensive label shows significantly greater concentration and structure. Supremely powerful Pinot Noir but the power is delivered with great finesses. Clearly built for the long haul, I would feel a sense of loss if I opened a bottle before 2019 and expect it to continue to give pleasure for more than a decade after that. " (07/2014) 94 points Wine Spectator: "Firm but gen...

89-92 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A highly perfumed, pure and very pretty nose of plum, rose petal and red currant aromas introduces intensely mineral-driven, vibrant and beautifully well-delineated flavors that terminate in a markedly saline, clean and crisp finish. I very much like the depth and persistence and this should make for a really lovely effort with the proper cellar time of 10 to 12 years." (04/2013) 92 points John Gilman: "The 2011 les Aigrots is an excellent wine, jumping from the glass in a classy blend of cherries, a touch of bl...

A great location in the heart of Napa Valley with a host of top-flight neighbors: Rubicon, Scarecrow and Phelps to name just a few. But this small family winery doesn't rely solely upon their location—it has enlisted well-regarded winemaker Aaron Pott (formerly of Quintessa) to make the wine. Aaron has done his job so well that Greer has become a hard wine to purchase, selling out their small production every vintage soon after release via their mailing list. A hidden gem. Antonio Galloni praised the winemaker and his 2011s: "Aaron Pott's time in Bordeau...

2011 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend
Back In Stock!
97 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Kicking off the 2011s and about as seductive and sexy as they come in the vintage, the 2011 Paderewski Vineyard is an eclectic blend of 34% Zinfandel, 31% Mourvedre, 16% Tempranillo, 10% Syrah and 9% Petite Sirah that comes from a warmer terroir of chalky, calcareous soils. Full-bodied, seamless and perfectly balanced, it offers brilliant aromas and flavors of black raspberry, rose petal, bramble and violets that are to die for. A big wine to be sure, yet it stays remarkably elegant, poised and fresh on the palat...

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More serious, and one of the wines of the vintage, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) has uncommon concentration and depth in the vintage, as well as a broad, structured profile that will allow it to age gracefully. Loaded with sweet creme de cassis, exotic spice, licorice and graphite, it’s a full-bodied, elegant and classically styled effort that has nothing out of place, fine, building tannin and a rock star finish. It will be approachable at an earlier stage than most vintages, yet still ha...

96 points Wine Enthusiast: "The wine shows the power typical of a Lafite but within the context of the fruity 2011 vintage. The immensely dense tannic structure gives the wine a solid feel that is lifted by so much ripe black currant and berry fruits. At the back, the wine has a more brooding, dark character that suggests great aging potential. Drink this wine from 2019. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (05/2014) 93-95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Lafite-Rothschild is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot with an alcohol level of ...

2011 Vega Sicilia "Único" Ribera del Duero (Pre-Arrival) (Pre-Arrival)
New!
98 points James Suckling: "Very ripe with plum, spice and dried-flower aromas, as well as chocolate, fresh flowers and sandalwood. Coffee and hints of meat. Sort of decadent. Full-bodied with round, creamy tannins and an intense, juicy feel. Unique cedar and walnut undertones. So delicious now, but one for the future, too. (JS)" (09/2020) 96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Unico released in 2021, 10 years after the harvest, is the 2011 Unico, selected from 40 of their 210 hectares of vineyards. 2011 is a concentrated and ripe vintage, and th...

92-94 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An intensely spicy and strikingly fresh red and blue Pinot fruit nose enjoys added breadth in the form of plum, earth and wet stone nuances. There is excellent detail and plenty of punch to the medium-bodied flavors that are brimming with a cool minerality, all wrapped in a balanced, linear and hugely persistent finish. This too is just terrific but be prepared to be patient. *Outstanding, Sweet Spot*" (04/2013) 92-94 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good medium bright red. Aromas of black che...

94 points James Suckling: "A beautiful red with superb concentration for the vintage, featuring currants, berries and light milk chocolate. Full and silky, with a soft texture and a delicately fruity aftertaste. Dick Grace is a guru of classic Napa cab each vintage. Better in 2016." (05/2014) K&L Notes: Grace Family Vineyards was planted with cuttings from the famed Bosché vineyard and first harvested in 1978. Those first grapes were handpicked by family and friends and taken to Caymus Winery in the back of a station wagon. This Napa Valley vineyard su...

The estate of Giuseppe Quintarelli, the Veneto’s most important producer, has received justifiable renown for its near-mythical Amarone, Recioto and the cult wine, Alzero. As resolute traditionalists, the Quintarelli estate follows the winemaking protocol established by Giuseppe, practices he learned from his father and grandfather. Therefore, Quintarelli wines are always small in allocation, high in demand, and stratospheric in quality--even the most connected wine-lovers find the Quintarelli wines difficult to obtain. As with the estate’s Amarone, Quin...

89-92 points Vinous: "Good medium-deep red. Plum, redcurrant, eucalyptus and oregano on the nose. Not especially deep but lush and broad for the vintage, with good density to the flavors of redcurrant, mint and chocolate. Finishes with ripe tannins and good breadth. From a tiny crop due to poor weather during the flowering, and all the better for it. (ST)" (05/2013)

96 points John Gilman: "The 2011 Trapet Chambertin is absolutely magical and one of the best 2011s... The classic and youthful nose offers up scents of red and black cherries, black minerality, plummy overtones, raw cocoa, mustard seed, woodsmoke and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and youthfully structured, with the purity of the vintage very much in evidence, a great core, ripe, firm tannins and superb focus and grip on the very, very long and soil-driven finish. This is the most aromatically expressive of the three g...

91 points Wine Enthusiast: "The second wine of Château Cheval Blanc is packed with wood flavors and spice. A toasty wine, it also has solid tannins plus fragrant fruitiness. Already the fruit is coming through strongly and it is for medium-term aging. (RV)" (06/2014) 90 points Wine Spectator: "Polished, offering good mouthfeel to the layers of fig sauce, crushed plum and licorice. Judicious toast frames the finish, with a hint of charcoal adding length. A little lighter than when tasted from barrel, but still balanced and refined without trying too har...

2011 Latour, Pauillac 2019 Ex-Château Release
Top Pick!
97 points Wine Enthusiast: "Big tannins and impressive fruits are the hallmarks of this impressive wine. It is also subtle, not showing all its flavors at once, hiding beneath tannins and structure. For this fruity vintage, it shows a strong sense of direct, solid structure, only allowing the strong black plum and berry flavors to come through slowly. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (05/2014) 96 points Wine Spectator: "This has a gorgeous core of steeped plum, boysenberry and black currant coulis flavors, backed by a prominent graphite note that drives throug...

96-98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Taylor’s Vintage 2011 has a multifaceted, Pandora’s Box of a nose that is mercurial in the glass: cassis at first before blackberry and raspberry politely ask it to move aside, followed by wilted rose petals and Dorset plum. Returning after one 45 minutes that nose has shut up shop. The palate is sweet and sensual on the entry, plush and opulent, with copious black cherries, boysenberry and cassis fruit, curiously more reminiscent of Fonseca! It just glides across the palate with a mouth-coating, glyc...

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Larkmead Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS, 90RP, 90ST). James Suckling: "Aromas of pine needles, fresh herbs, blackberries and currants follow through to a full body with a silky tannin texture and a juicy, mineral and light mint character. They declassified 45% of wine made and sold it in bulk so the best wines went into this. " (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $190.50

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Colgin "Tychson Hill Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN, 94JS, 91RP). Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill opens with the most exquisite of aromatics. Sage, rosemary, graphite, tobacco, menthol, black cherries, plums all flesh out in a dark, voluptuous wine loaded with class. The interplay of savory notes with layers of fruit is simply breathtaking. Vivid, nuanced and beautifully structured, the 2011 is firing on all cylinders. There is a level of aromatic lift and pure finesse that is simply striking. Hints of orange peel and white pepper add an exotic flair on the close. Tychson Hill is Cabernet Sauvignon with splashes of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Shades of the 2001 linger in the empty glass. (AG) 97+" (11/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Torrin "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhone Blend (95RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of my favorites in the lineup and just another example showcasing how special this vineyard is, the 2011 Torrin James Berry Vineyard offers thrilling black cherry, cassis, spring flowers and licorice to go with a medium to full-bodied, seamless and silky profile that carries superb richness, while staying graceful and weightless. A blend of 52% Syrah and 48% Grenache (with a splash of Roussanne) that spent 18 months in a combination of small and large 50% new barrels, this is a decidedly perfumed, elegant and nuanced wine from Scott. Drink it over the coming decade. Made by Scott Hawley, these are classic Paso blends that never lack for fruit or texture, yet always back it up with superb underlying structure. (JD)" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (93DC, 92VN, 91W&S). Decanter: "Maturing aromas of milk chocolate, toffee, black cherry and red plum. It is red-fruited, soft and charming on the palate, displaying flavours of pomegranate, dried rosemary and coffee beans. Ridge’s classic styling plays into the hands of the vintage, emphasising the intrinsic characteristics of the 82% of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend, alongside 14% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc." (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage (96JD, 96RP, 96WS, (94-95VN)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted from bottle, the 2011 Hermitage sports a ruby/purple color to go with an awesome bouquet of sweet cassis, dried flowers, spice-box, ground pepper and crushed stone. One of the more serious, focused and structured 2011s, it has fabulous concentration, sweet tannin and a seamless texture. Give it 5-6 years and enjoy bottles over the following 2 decades or more. (JD) 96+" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $800.00

Bid on this 3 liter 1-bottle lot of 2011 Viader Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (3L) (OWC - 93JS, 92VN) in original wood. James Suckling: "A 2011 with tension and austerity, in the good sense. Medium to full body with silky tannins and a fresh finish. Bright and fruity. Shows class and finesse. A subtle blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon and 34% Cabernet Franc." (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this magnum of 2011 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (93VN, 90RP). Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is super-impressive. Pliant and generous on the palate, the 2011 offers notable depth, no hard edges and fabulous purity of fruit, all extremely rare at this level in 2011, a cold, late-ripening vintage. Then again, Dr. Crane, a valley site in St. Helena, is one of Napa Valley's top vineyards. Sweet red plum, rose petal, spice and mint wrap around the open-knit finish. (AG)" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Switchback Ridge "Peterson Family Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good deep red-ruby. Perfumed aromas of currant, espresso and smoky, nutty oak, plus a hint of prune. Suave, dense and juicy, showing a milk chocolatey quality that reminded me of Merlot. Plenty of sweet oak here but has enough supporting currant fruit. (ST)" (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2011 Chimney Rock "Arete" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon , 1-bottle of 2011 Chimney Rock "Arrowhead Vineyard" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, 1-bottle of 2011 Chimney Rock "Clone 4" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1-bottle of 2011 Chimney Rock "Ganymede Vineyard" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 90WE). Of the 2011 Chimney Rock "Ganymede Vineyard" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon,Vinous writes: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Ganymede Vineyard is seriously beautiful. Graphite, sweet herbs and violets open up in the glass, followed by tobacco, mint and dark fruit. The 2011 is reluctant to show all of its cards. Today it is dark, mysterious and imposing. The finish alone is drop-dead gorgeous, but readers will have to be patient. Those who can wait will be rewarded with a fabulous bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Robert Chevillon Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru "Les St. Georges" (96JG, (92-95BH), (91-94ST), 92VN). John Gilman: "The 2011 Chevillon Les St. Georges is a brilliant wine in the making. The deep and stunning nose wafts from the glass in a blend of red and black cherries, pomegranate, stunningly complex soil tones, a touch of nutskin, gamebirds, pungent violets and a deft framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and nascently complex, with a very sappy and deep mid-palate, ripe, seamless tannins, laser-like focus and magical length and grip on the very soil-driven, refined and intense finish. A brilliant wine in the making! " (11/2012)
Starting Bid: $321.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Hobel Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92VN, 90ST). Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon is pretty, nuanced and delicate. Floral notes meld into sweet red berries, mint and spices. The 2011 is intensely fragrant and delicate in this vintage, with terrific length and persistence, all in the medium-bodied style of the year. The 2011 will drink well pretty much right out of the gate. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Torrin "Tsundere" Paso Robles Red Blend (94RP, 93VN, 92ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Incorporating more Tannat than normal, the 2011 Tsundere is comprised of 35% Syrah, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Tannat and the balance Grenache. Aged 18 months in 65% new French oak, it’s the most structured and tannic in the lineup, and will need 2-4 years to round into form. It shows the Cabernet on the nose, with textbook cassis, blackcurrants, lead pencil shavings and hints of tobacco leaf all emerging from the glass. This is followed by a full-bodied, seamless, yet beautifully concentrated wine that has solid density, a great texture and building, savory tannin. There are less than 200 cases of this, but it’s a great wine and will have 15+ years of longevity. Made by Scott Hawley, these are classic Paso blends that never lack for fruit or texture, yet always back it up with superb underlying structure. (JD) 94+" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Alpha Omega "Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (92VN, 90RP). Vinous: "Iron, smoke, tar, licorice and incense are some of the many notes that inform the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Missouri Hopper. The aromas and flavors are dark, powerful and earthy in this intense, 2011 from Alpha Omega. Ideally readers should give the wine a few years for some of the contours to soften. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Denner "Ditch Digger" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (93ST, 93VN, 92RP). Vinous: "Denner's 2011 Ditch Digger is a wine of great textural finesse. Sweet tobacco, dried herbs, flowers and spices all meld together beautifully in the glass. Silky, polished and utterly impeccable, the 2011 impresses for its balance and overall sense of harmony. Black olives, savory herbs and spices linger on the finish. This is yet another great showing from Denner. Anthony Yount is without question one of the most thoughtful and introspective winemakers in Paso Robles. Young is among those trying to add dimensions of finesse to his wines, and he is succeeding big time. This is a fabulous set of 2011s, but it’s just the start for a winemaker who has a brilliant career ahead of him. Denner is one of the elite estates in Paso Robles. I can't recommend these wines highly enough. (AG)" (07/2013)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (97RP, 94ST, 94VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Kicking off the 2011s and about as seductive and sexy as they come in the vintage, the 2011 Paderewski Vineyard is an eclectic blend of 34% Zinfandel, 31% Mourvedre, 16% Tempranillo, 10% Syrah and 9% Petite Sirah that comes from a warmer terroir of chalky, calcareous soils. Full-bodied, seamless and perfectly balanced, it offers brilliant aromas and flavors of black raspberry, rose petal, bramble and violets that are to die for. A big wine to be sure, yet it stays remarkably elegant, poised and fresh on the palate, with no hard edges and an approachable, utterly impossible-to-resist profile that keeps you pouring another glass. (JD)" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $166.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Bevan "Ontogeny" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the least expensive wines in this portfolio is the 2011 Ontogeny, a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot and the rest Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Bevan calls this the oddity or contrarian in his line-up of wines, probably because of the high percentage of Petit Verdot in the blend. More earthy than some of its siblings, with less exuberant and boisterous fruit, it is another over-sized, opaque purple-colored wine with lots of roasted meat, bouquet garni and charcuterie notes backed up by plenty of power, blackberry and cassis characteristics. The striking aromatics are followed by a wonderfully lush, velvety wine to drink over the next 7-10 years. (RP) 93+" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Bevan Cellars "The Curmudgeon - Showket Vineyard" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 93VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From two Oakville vineyards, Tin Box and Tench, the 2011 Curmudgeon is a blend of 66.67% Cabernet Franc and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon. Its opaque purple color is followed by soaring aromas of spring flowers, pen ink, espresso roast, white chocolate, black currants and mulberries. This deep, full-bodied, seamlessly constructed wine reveals perfectly integrated wood, tannin, alcohol and acidity. An amazing effort, it is already delicious, complex and outrageous. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 96VN, (92-95RP), 93ST). James Suckling: "Compelling aromas of black fruits such as brambleberries, plus blueberries and fresh mushrooms. Asphalt, too. Forest fruits. The tannins just melt into the wine as you taste it. Aristocratic and regal in style and length. A powdery, fascinating texture. From biodynamically grown grapes. *Top 100 Wines of 2014* " (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (92RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard has sweet berry fruit, roasted herbs, incense, a touch of background wood spice and foresty notes all present in this medium-bodied, slightly lighter style of Pinot Noir from Marcassin. This was a challenging vintage, but the wines turned out outstanding, and very Burgundian. The alcohol is 13.9%, which is one of their lowest sugar levels. The wine presents a very attractive, moderately intense perfume, good acidity and excellent precision. (RP)" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Myriad "Beckstoffer Georges III" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard is one of the stars of the vintage. Abundant notes of black raspberries, blueberries and cassis emerge from this full-bodied, rich Cabernet. There is no evidence of dilution or herbaceousness. This 2011 will drink nicely for 10-12 years. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Larkmead "Firebelle" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (91JS). James Suckling: "A balanced, silky red with chocolate, berry and coffee, following through to a full to medium body and super-integrated tannins. A blend of 42% Merlot, 27% Malbec, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet franc. The high percentage of Malbec gives a juiciness to the wine. " (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Keplinger "Red Slope" Knights Valley Grenache (93VN). Vinous: "The 2011 Red Slope is juicy, forward and expressive. Sweet red cherries, mint, wild flowers and licorice meld together in a beautiful, forward Grenache with tons of juiciness. The 2011 is more accessible than the 2010 because of its mid-weight structure, but all the elements come together in the glass. White flowers, orange zest and cinnamon linger on the perfumed, fragrant finish. This is a terrific showing in a tough, tough year. The blend is 96% Grenache and 4% Syrah. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this magnum of 2011 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 95RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Old Sparky reveals lots of cassis, spring flower, graphite and spice characteristics along with good minerality. Medium to full-bodied and strikingly rich, it, too, is a great success for the vintage. It should drink well for 15 or more years. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $625.00

Bid on this magnum of 2011 Myriad "Beckstoffer Georges III" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (93RP, 91ST).
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Myriad Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Dark red. Musky cassis, coffee, mocha, woodsmoke and game on the nose, plus hints of menthol and cigar box. Silky and sweet on the palate, with an almost syrupy quality but also a slight green edge to the currant and plum flavors. Suggests a wide range of fruit ripeness but offers good texture and early appeal. Dusty tannins showed a slight dryness with air. (ST)" (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Kapcsandy "Grand Vin - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN, 95ST). Vinous: "As great as the 2010 is, the 2011 isn’t too far behind. Silky, gracious tannins form the backbone in a refined, beautifully balanced Grand Vin long on class. Sweet, perfumed and utterly impeccable throughout, the 2011 is a Grand Vin simply superb. With time in the glass, the 2011 fleshes out beautifully, showing remarkable depth for the year. The 2011 is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc. The higher percentage of Merlot is typical of a lot of blends in 2011. (AG) 96+" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Archery Summit "Red Hills Estate" Dundee Hills Pinot Noir (90WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Quite tart, with a mix of cranberry and strawberry fruit, this rather delicate Pinot Noir is a fine reflection of the strengths of this lighter vintage. Perfectly balanced, it shows surprising length and complexity, from the raspberry aromatics on through a lightly toasty finish. (PG)" (04/2014)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Greer Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon. Antonio Galloni praised the winemaker and his 2011s: "Aaron Pott's time in Bordeaux came in handy in 2011. Pott is one of the winemakers who navigated the challenges of the year with great success. His reds are rich, deep and intense, especially next to so many other wines of the vintage." (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $361.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Bevan "Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Proprietary Red Sugarloaf Mountain is an intriguing blend of 52% Cabernet Franc and 48% Merlot. Notes of tobacco leaf, crushed rocks, graphite, forest floor, plums, violets, espresso, black cherries and black currants jump from the glass of this deep, full-bodied, opulent wine. It is nearly impossible to believe it came from the 2011 vintage. However, it is precocious and evolved, so consume it over the next 7-8 years. (RP)" (10/2013)
