93 points James Suckling: "A solid wine for the 2011 vintage with bright and vivid aromas of blackberry, black currant, spice and walnut character. Full body, silky and refined. Shows poise and beauty for the lighter 2011 vintage." (05/2016) 92 points Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Rubicon impresses for its immediacy. Juicy red berries, mint, flowers and crushed rocks are all vibrant and beautifully delineated. Today, the 2011 is quite fresh and fruit-driven, almost surprisingly so, yet all the elements are in place. Firm, grippy tannins support ...

97 points Wine Enthusiast: "Big tannins and impressive fruits are the hallmarks of this impressive wine. It is also subtle, not showing all its flavors at once, hiding beneath tannins and structure. For this fruity vintage, it shows a strong sense of direct, solid structure, only allowing the strong black plum and berry flavors to come through slowly. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (05/2014) 96 points Wine Spectator: "This has a gorgeous core of steeped plum, boysenberry and black currant coulis flavors, backed by a prominent graphite note that drives throug...

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Continuum Oakville Bordeaux Blend (95VN, 94JS, 94WE, 92RP, 92ST, 92WS). Vinous: "One of the wines of the vintage, the 2011 Continuum is just as beautiful as it has always been. Crystalline, pure and wonderfully nuanced in the glass, the 2011 offers gorgeous aromatics, finely-sculpted fruit and fabulous overall balance. Sweet rose petal, dark-fleshed stone fruits, mint, spices and leather are some of the signatures. With several years in the bottle the 2011 is becoming more and more exotic, with a captivating interplay of aromatics, fruit and a classically inspired sense of structure. Once again, the 2011 Continuum shows just how strong the vintage can be in the right places. (AG)" (10/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94VN, 94W&S, 93JS, 90ST). Vinous: "Savory herbs, menthol, smoke and licorice are some of the aromas that open up in the glass in the 2011 Dominus. This is a relatively immediate, expressive Dominus with plenty of near-term appeal. The style is open and succulent for the year, with lovely balance and poise. Crushed rose petals and dried herbs linger in the close. With time in the glass, the 2011 fleshes out nicely. In 2011 Dominus is 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 96W&S, 94JS, 94VN, 92WE, 92WS). Decanter: "Dried mulberry, brick dust and rosemary aromas intertwine with Monte Bello’s signature sweet n’ sour scent. Seamless, pure and plump on the palate, with flavours of dried blueberry, fig and dried cherry. The finish is firm and rustic, ending with notes of ash, cocoa powder and cherry skins. Still in its youth, but beginning to reveal itself. (ML)" (01/2021)
