2018 Kalinda Central Coast Chardonnay
Review Date: 05-13-2020
The fruit for this Chardonnay is sourced primary from the Paragon Vineyard, which is located about 5 miles south of the town of San Luis Obispo, in the heart of the Edna Valley. Lots of classic cool climate Chardonnay fruit is followed by a round, creamy texture and long crisp finish. Good acidity and balance make this wine the perfect summer sipper!

Review Date: 06-03-2019
Sweet fruit up front, very tannic and masculine, compact and closed in the mouth but still shows a fleshy mid-palate texture. This should round out once bottled and turn out to be an excellent effort! 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot

2018 Smith-Haut-Lafitte Blanc, Pessac-Léognan

Probably one of the best whites of the vintage! This is rich and creamy upfront with layers of baked apples and coconut. There is acidity here and the finish shows hints of lime and zesty acidity.

2018 Phélan-Ségur, St-Estèphe

2015 Beau-Séjour Bécot, St-Emilion
Review Date: 05-10-2019
Aromatic in the nose, the fruit is nearly exotic. This is a richly textured wine that is dense and concentrated but still shows finesse and balance. The firm tannins are not overpowering but still this is a structured wine that should age gracefully over the next several decades.

We were all very impressed with this wine this past April when tasting it out of barrel. Dark color, extracted and deep, intense, masculine and firm, but with layers of chewy, ripe fruit. Hints of graphite and mineral. Very long on the finish. Excellent Saint Pierre!

2018 de Sales, Pomerol
Review Date: 05-03-2019
A blend of 69% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon is an unusually low percentage of Merlot for the property. This is one of the better younger de Sales we have tasted. The wine is fresh and pure, with an elegant mid-palate and silky tannins that linger on the finish. Quite round and fleshy in the mouth, with a wonderful purity. Excellent value from the Right Bank!
