2022 Sheild (Middle-Earth) Pinot Meunier Rose Nelson
Review Date: 03-05-2023
This is an awesome value for a top notch rose for the spring time. Floral notes of rose and citrus blossom envelop the glass, with a light finish of bubblegum!

2021 Union Sacre "Kick On Ranch - Old Vine" Santa Barbara County Dry Riesling
Review Date: 01-27-2023
Union Sacre continues to wow me with every wine I try. I used to work in a tasting room in Paso Robles, where a good half of my coworkers there were all members at Union Sacre! The grapes in this bottling come from one of the best Riesling sites in CA, where they eventually had to shift their grafts of Pinot Noir over to Riesling because of the demand! This wine is delicious, with bright notes of stone fruits, pears, and zesty citrus on the nose. A nice weight on the palate leads to a resolved and refreshing glass.
2020 Font de Courtedune Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages Vieilles Vignes
Review Date: 01-18-2023
Whole cluster fermentation yields a glass full of fresh red fruits as well as some blueberry notes. The acidity is bright and juicy, leaving your palate with a lasting finish of cracked pepper and cherries.

The nose on this sake is full of ripe bananas and citrus fruits, with a slightly savory and mineral palate of wet stone, brioche, and melon.

Brooklyn Kura Blue Door Junmai Namazake New York Sake (750ml)
Review Date: 11-12-2022
This is super fun to try! A little higher in alcohol than the typical sake which helps it last longer when opened in the fridge. The nose on this is excellent, with ripe notes of tropical fruits such as banana and pineapple, moving into a buttery brioche and almost sweet rice scent.

Antech Brut Nature Blanquette de Limoux
Review Date: 10-27-2022
This wine is awesome! Herbaceous on the front of the palate, with a light salinity and minerality that makes you want some oysters in front of you. Finished with notes of pineapple, orange zest, and tropical fruits!
Top Value!

Baron-Fuenté "Esprit" Brut Champagne
Review Date: 09-30-2022
This wine has a creamy texture, with notes of passionfruit, kiwi, strawberries, and finished off with a nice minerality! I absolutely loved this wine in our champagne tasting and would buy this for myself!
2018 Clos la-Gaffelière, St-Émilion
Review Date: 09-11-2022

This wine opens with a nose of tilled-earth and black currant, and leaves the consumer wanting more. Tannic and full-bodied, this can easily be paired with fattier meats. The palate begins with dark plum and moves through raw cacao and finishes with a hint of campfire smoke. A great complex wine to try out!
