I am stunned. This wine took my breath away and I was in love at the cork pop.
Hello gorgeous you with dark opulent blackberries, voluptuous tannins and unforgettable personality.
It has the power and the body of 2010 that you expect but is so elegantly harmonious. Harmony in fruit, body, balance and the finish.
Go ahead, try it and be in love!
2018 Ata Rangi Pinot Noir Martinborough

Hello Liquid silk!
Ata Rangi 2018 Pinot Noir has beautiful aromas of wild lavender bouquet and freshly picked blackberries. Medium gentle body which is full of flavors, combined with acidity on the back palate, makes this wine a perfect pair with almost anything. I paired it with saffron roasted chicken breast and it was simply heavenly.

A great value wine that shows wonderful characters of dark chocolate, coffee, black currant and certainly has cellar potential. Medium body, gentle Tannins and balance acidity. A definite delight from start to finish.

Are you a Serious Zinfandel lover ? warm, deep, lush, dark fruit Zin?
What about an old vine Carignon? spice, mouthwatering fruit and great but not offensive tannin? Do you get excited about a very delightful elegant Bordeaux that is versatile and will relate to any varietal lover that you are? Do not let this be the one that got away before you gave it a chance.
I want to be fascinated and intrigued about any wine I try. I love a wine that makes my taste buds sparkle with joy and I can get all googly eyes about it. I like to be able to share that joy with people and think of myself as a great story teller, only in this case I will be a wine teller in reality!
There should be such a thing by the way.
I tasted this wine and my face lit up. everyone around me said; Oh! she likes it.
and did I ? No! I LOVED it. warm, cozy, abundant fruit, that leather you expect in Bordeaux, a hint of cinnamon, vanilla, dark cocoa powder and a lovely memorable finish. Who knew a 20 dollar wine will turn me into a Scheherazade of exciting stories? only the story lies within the sips of this wine.
