2016 La Tour Léognan (Carbonnieux), Pessac-Léognan
Review Date: 02-18-2019
A fantastic wine. This is a well-structured yet very accessible Bordeaux with wild dark fruits, cocoa notes, lush texture and vivid acidity. It's been a rather cold and damp winter in Los Angeles and these days after work I usually crank up the heat and crawl into bed with a book. However, after we opened this up to taste at the store, I instead went home, cranked up the heat, whipped up an old-school beef and mashed potato dinner and took my time to thoroughly enjoy this soul-warming and downright delicious wine.

Caves Messias Santola "Crab Wine" Vinho Verde
Review Date: 04-25-2018
Fun, fun, fun! Crisp, refreshing, and spritzy this is THE quintessential, eazy-breezy, zippy summer sipper. You're going to want to keep this on hand for poolside sipping, or for enjoying with salads, cheese and yes, even crab.

Fallet-Dart Brut Rosé Champagne
Review Date: 06-12-2017
A pleasing, plush style with plenty of red fruits, subtle herbal notes due to the percentage of Pinot Meunier, and a very favorable toasty quality. I enjoyed this with friends after a long work week and it certainly did not disappoint.
