Savory with delicious nuttiness and earthy minerality yet still fresh and zesty with acidity shining through the fruit. It's a unique style that overdelivers with complexity and precision and an amazing value!

Franck Bonville Unisson Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Champagne
Review Date: 01-29-2025
Absolutely glorious Blanc De Blancs! Textural and supple with beautiful mineral notes, reminiscent of ocean breeze and mouth watering salinity. Full-bodied and silky on the palate with just enough acidity to balance slightly brioche-like notes. Clean and elegant with striking, persistent finish, it's a magnificent drink on its own as well as a great pairing to Lobster Thermidor.
Jean-Jacques Lamoureux "Les Amoureux" Pinot Blanc Champagne
Review Date: 01-15-2025
This is so exciting to have this wonderful Champagne finally back in stock! I love it's luxurious texture with depth and multi dimension brought by excellent balanced minerality that adds brightness to rich citrus on the palate similar to lemon curd. Great champagne to enjoy on its own or pair with heavier sea food dishes. Lobster bisque?! For sure! As a white burgundy lover I find this Champagne very similar to it and it's just a pure magic. It's one of a kind Champagne that should not be missed.

It's complex, it keeps changing and evolving in your glass as you drink it which is always fascinating and makes it more enjoyable. Great Champagne worth any occasion as well as Sunday night!

2019 Gilbert Jacquesson Vintage Brut Champagne
Review Date: 11-15-2024
I love it when Champagne combines elegance and brightness with concentration and powerful fruit. It's exactly what I find in this vintage of Gilbert Jacquesson. I enjoy very much its richness of ripe citrus and supple apple notes with beautiful acidity and touch of brioche. It's a great Champagne to enjoy on its own as an aperitif and also pair it with richer seafood like lobster or scallops.

2021 Warwick "First Lady" Pinotage Stellenbosch
Review Date: 09-03-2024
It's been a while since I have tried really good Pinotage so I almost forgot how much I enjoy this varietal. This particular wine from Warwick reminded me yet again how delicious Pinotage can be when it's done right. It's medium bodied, with perfect balance between dark red fruit and moderate acidity. What I like the most is its savory and earthy flavor with velvety texture with underlying warm spice component that takes everything to another level of complexity. This would be a great match to Thanksgiving dinner and pork roast with herbs.
Krug "Grande Cuvée" 172ème Édition Brut Champagne
Review Date: 08-31-2024
Krug never disappoints you, and this Cuvee is another proof to it. Powerful in acidity and well structured Champagne, it has beautiful richness of lemon curd on the mid palate with lovely layers of fresh citrus and touch of brioche along with strong minerality. It will age great but it's incredibly delicious to drink now as well!
2020 Malescasse, Haut-Médoc
Review Date: 06-27-2024
One of our staff all-time favorites. Always over performing for its price and complexity. Packed with blackcurrants and wild blackberries with alluring array of notes reminiscent of cedar box, tobacco and earthy spices. Firm but ripe tannins, approachable now - no doubt, with proper decanting, but also great wine to age. We have had many wonderfully aged bottles of Malescasse, it's for sure a keeper!
2009 Ormes de Pez, St-Estèphe
Review Date: 06-13-2024
Full bodied, rich but well balanced. Lots of black fruit, sweet tobacco, leather and dark spices. It has well developed soft, velvety tannins and long supple finish, Despite rich fruit, it is dry wine with good acidity to balance all the fruit. Enjoy it with a prime rib!
2010 Sarget de Gruaud-Larose, St-Julien
Review Date: 06-13-2024
Classic claret, earthy and savory, nuanced and layered with a range of spices, cedar and light notes of dried mushrooms. It's dry and balanced with structured fruit of blackcurrants at its core and approachable tannins. It's drinking well now but it's a great wine to lay down. I have had amazing Sarget from 1999 and older. They certainly age well and will reward you in the future.
2021 Burn Cottage "Sauvage Vineyard" Pinot Noir Bannockburn Central Otago
Review Date: 03-14-2024
Being a huge fan of Felton Road wines I am so excited to taste Burn Cottage! It's truly equal in power and complexity of flavors to Felton Road. This Pinot Noir has lovely savory notes of black tea and juicy red cherry at the same time, with layer of very subtle clove and star anise spice mix underneath it all. Finish goes on for ever and ever, it's very impressive! It's a structured wine with firm but light tannins which will help wine age gracefully yet you can certainly enjoy it now with food like duck, game meat and grilled salmon. If you like Pinot Noir, don't miss this opportunity.

I absolutely love the whole line up of Pierre Mineral! this Champagne is one of the top values in the store. It's impeccably clean, mineral palate with a little bit of brioche, apple, pink peach and white blossom aromas creates the most irresistible profile. It's one of the best Champagne to sip by itself.

I fell in love with this Champagne from the first vintage I tasted and I'm always excited to see new vintages to come in. It's so expressive and delicious, this vintage is rich with lemon cream, fresh brioche and toasted hazelnuts with bright acidity to keep everything in balance. Finish is long and touch savory. This Champagne is layered and textural, so let it open up in your glass and it will be revealing many components as it changes in your glass. A masterpiece of Champagne!

Review Date: 11-29-2022
Billecart-Salmon has outdone themselves with this new vintage of Cuvee Louis! I am not afraid to say it's the best Champagne for this price. It has it all: beautiful aromas of meadow flowers, white blossom, freshly baked brioche. Palate is bursting with supple citrus, hazelnut, brioche, crisp mineral notes and brisk acidity. Finish goes on forever. Balanced to perfection, it will take your breath away!
Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé Champagne
Review Date: 05-03-2022
You just can't go wrong with classic Rose from Billecart-Salmon! It's one of the most prettiest, perfectly balanced and elegant expressions of Rose Champagne. With bright raspberry and barberry aromas and flavors with a hint of white peach it's almost ethereal in its profile. No wonder it is crowd pleasing and one of the ultimate favorites among the staff here and customers.

Billecart-Salmon "Sous Bois" Brut Champagne
Review Date: 10-06-2021
Red apple skin and lemon notes are the most prominent flavors of this Champagne. It's full-bodied and powerful with firm structure and acidity. Serious wine that should be paired with richer seafood, like lobster, tuna or swordfish. It opens up a lot in the glass as you drink it and shows more sides of it. Definitely a unique Champagne.
Franck Bonville Grand Cru Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne
Review Date: 10-06-2021
I never get tired of tasting and drinking this Champagne every time it comes back in stock. It's that good! Brilliant and tremendously complex, it's one of the best expressions of Blanc De Blancs . On the palate you get delicious combination of light lemon curd and some chalky minerality. On the nose - meadow flowers and citrus blossom. No wonder it's always gone so fast from our shelves!

It's practically impossible to find better value that this Champagne! Louis Roederer "Collection 242" Brut Champagne

What a significant and impressive upgrade for Roederer! This updated cuvee is powerful, mineral with deeper and broader texture and amazing long finish. Brioche, hints of honey and red apple along with mouthwatering acidity and rich citrus.

Le Brun de Neuville "La Croisée des Chemins" Extra Brut Champagne
Review Date: 02-24-2021
This is an amazing Champagne with perfect balance between crisp citrus, brioche and touch of toasted almond. It was a great match for grilled lobster tail. The freshness of Champagne paired beautifully with richness of lobster and elevated all flavors. At this price this is just unbelievable every day Champagne that can stand up to a serious meal as well.
2008 Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne
Review Date: 10-14-2020
This Champagne is the sheer perfection. It is so incredibly complex and multidimensional! Bright and powerful with deep concentrated flavor, it mellows down on the finish and gently sparkles on your palate for a very long time. It seems to be precisely balanced to the point that not a single aspect of it sticks out. The crisp acidity, light toasty and brioche notes in combination with mineral and citrus notes create Champagne that can rival any other higher priced cuvees. With the holiday season quickly approaching this should be a must gift for literally anybody.
2007 Alexandre Le Brun "Cuvée Fascination" Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Champagne

One of the loveliest Champagnes I have tasted recently. Precise and exquisite. Blanc de Blancs is my favorite type of Champagne and "Fascination" has everything I love: fresh and bright aromas with hints of brioche and white flowers. Dry, very focused palate with deep, rich flavors of citrus fruit and little bit of toastiness, beautifully balanced with a long mineral finish.
