Pierre Paillard "Les Parcelles" Grand Cru Extra Brut Bouzy Champagne

Light, bright and golden on the eyes, this delicate champagne displays tight, creamy bubbles with the aroma of fresh, zesty citrus peel. On the mouth, the entry is marked with lively acidity, a hint of toast, wet stone, and green apple. Poised and pretty, this is a super treat and a perfect celebratory cuvée at a well-priced $50 mark. Super recommended!

Fans of Pinot Meunier or anyone looking for a zippy crowd-pleasing party Champagne is going to want to take heed. The nose is shy with subtle notes of cherry but surprisingly supported by a fresh jolt of bright acidity and the hallmark flavor of pomegranate. Super fun pick, and the price is right!

Capurro Estate Grown Single Vintage Quebranta Premium Pisco (750ml)

Taste the terroir of Peru with this single varietal Quebranta, one of the strongest yet non-aromatic of the 8 designated varietals that can be used to make pisco. What quebranta lacks in aroma more than makes up for with rich, texture and complex flavors of sweet fried plantains, almonds and pepper. The full body of this spirit makes it a great emulsifier and perfect for making Pisco Sours, or it would work just fine alone as a soothing, slow tropical sipper.

This is an excellent choice to play with your standard tiki recipes and mix something truly exotic. Have some fun!

2010 Clendenen "Le Bon Climat" Santa Maria Valley Chardonnay (Winery Direct Library Release)

If there is such a thing as a comfort Chardonnay, this is it. With a bit of smoke on the nose and a toasted entry full of rich pear and yellow apple notes, this is smooth and layered with bright acidity. This wines is delicious, nuanced, and well-made. A total beauty for under $30!
Rare Wine Company "Historic Series - New York" Malmsey Madeira

Here's an absolutely delicious treat and a lovely example of a classic sweet Madeira made from the Malvasia grape. Rich in color and luscious in body with notes of toasted hazelnuts, toffee and dates. This would make an excellent pairing with any nutty dessert.
