2007 Domaine Rouge Bleu "Le Mistral" Côtes du Rhône

I let this decant for 2 hours per the recommendation of a friend who introduced me to this wine. The aroma was engulfing. The flavor was excellent. I was expecting heavy tannins but was pleasantly surprised when it was very smooth to drink. Can't wait to have the other bottle now.

Unfortunately my wife opened this when I wasn't looking. It was fantastic though - I would say really pleasant on the pallet - nice finish - would have been a great food wine but I enjoyed it watching the super bowl and eating pizza.
