Egrot Brut Champagne

I consider this one of the most underrated Champagnes in the store despite all the raves. It has that perfect chalky real Champagne flavor that many crave. It's my "house" champagne and nobody who has ever tasted it didn't think it was the best they have ever had. Not getting any red fruit flavors at all though. Not sure what that is all about. Not looking for that in a Champagne. Baffled.

This is actually a family grape growing operation that seems to make some wine on the side. Not quite as interesting as I'd like though. People who do not like the classic California cab taste would like this wine.

I have had $60 cabs that were not this good. A steal. Has correct "cab" flavors.
