2010 Cantemerle, Haut-Médoc

94 points James Suckling: "A wine with blueberry and mineral aromas follows through to a full body, with fine tannins and a juicy finish. Best for years from here. Needs at least three years of bottle age to soften. Could be better than 2009 in the long run." (02/2013) 94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The wine needs a good 7-10 years of cellaring and should keep for 30 more years, but this is the finest Cantemerle I have encountered in my professional career of tasting young vintages (dating back 34 years now). 2010 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (Pre-Arrival)

100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As for the 2010 Haut-Brion, it does not have the power of Latour’s 2010 or the intense lead pencil shavings and chocolaty component of Lafite-Rothschild, but it is extraordinary, perfect wine. It has a slightly lower pH than the 2009 (3.7 versus the 2009's 3.8), and even higher alcohol than the 2009 (14.6%). The wine is ethereal. 2010 Gloria, St-Julien

93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Gloria is an ass-kicking, fabulous value once again from this estate, which would probably be classified if the 1855 hierarchy of the wines of the Medoc were ever done again. Abundant notes of cedar wood, fruitcake, flowers, creme de cassis and kirsch are all present in this full-bodied, opulent, dense, dark ruby/purple wine. It is slightly more restrained than the flamboyant 2009, but equal in quality. This is a juicy, well-proportioned, sensationally concentrated, super-ripe Gloria to drink over the ne ...Read More »

Round and full on the palate with an amazing fruit and refined tannins. Truly superb. Hard not to drink now. Try from 2016. " (02/2013) 98 points Wine Spectator: "Dense and slightly chewy, this features girders of charcoal-coated grip running from start to finish, along with bay leaf, smoldering tobacco and warm tar. But don’t be fooled-there's also loads of fruit, offering ...Read More »

2010 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) Top Pick!
2010 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival)

100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As for the 2010 Haut-Brion, it does not have the power of Latour’s 2010 or the intense lead pencil shavings and chocolaty component of Lafite-Rothschild, but it is extraordinary, perfect wine. It has a slightly lower pH than the 2009 (3.7 versus the 2009's 3.8), and even higher alcohol than the 2009 (14.6%). The wine is ethereal. From its dense purple color to its incredibly subtle but striking aromatics that build incrementally, offering up a spectacular smorgasbord of aromas ranging from charcoal and camphor t ...Read More »

2010 Branaire-Ducru, St-Julien

95 points Wine Enthusiast: "This rich, full wine shows the chateau to be at the top of its form. It’s finely balanced, pushing both its fruit and acidity, with the tannins taking the supporting role. With its power leashed, this shows the stylish side of Saint-Julien, although it will certainly age for many years. *Cellar Selection* " (02/2013) 94 points Wine Spectator: "Very polished and stylish, with a velvety feel to the layers of crushed plum, currant and blackberry, while bittersweet cocoa and black licorice glide in on the gorgeous, black tea-inf ...Read More »

2010 Haut-Bailly, Pessac-Léognan

98 points James Suckling: "Great aromas of crushed blackberries with flowers and stones that follow through to a full body, with super silky tannins and a long, long finish. It fills your mouth with beautiful fruit and velvety tannins yet shows tension and form. This lasts for minutes on the palate. Structured and superb. Don't touch until 2020." (11/2013) 98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep plum/purple, Haut-Bailly's 2010 required some coaxing to appreciate its subtle notes of barbecue smoke, lead pencil shavings and creme de cassis as well ...Read More »

2010 La Mission Haut-Brion Rouge, Pessac-Léognan 6-pack in OWC

100 points James Suckling: "This is crazy. The nose is so unique with the iodine, stones and currant aromas with wet earth and mushroom. Aromas like this don't usually come out until 10 years or so in the bottle. Classic nose for this estate. Full-bodied, with an amazing palate of firm yet polished tannins and a solid palate. So dense and gorgeous. It is really stunning. Try in 2020. " (02/2013) 98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A strong candidate for a perfect score in about 15 years, the 2010 La Mission Haut-Brion could well turn out to be ...Read More »

2010 Fourcas Hosten, Listrac (1.5L)

91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Now at its peak, this is a rich, full-bodied wine. It has a fine blend of dark tannins and dense plum and berry fruits. Maturing well, the wine is well balanced, with a smoky edge and still with a touch of acidity. Drink now. *Editors' Choice* (RV)" (09/2016) 90 points James Suckling: "Lovely aromas of flowers and berries follow through to a full body, with fine tannins and a fresh finish. So drinkable now but better in 2016." (03/2013) Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Slightly deeper than its sibling namesake, Fourcas Dupr ...Read More »
