Bid on this bottle of 2015 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (99RP, 95JS, 94VN). Wine Advocate: "Close to perfection is the 2015 Pinot Noir Cix Estate, which is reminiscent of a great grand cru Burgundy from Northern Côte de Nuit. Forest floor, porcini mushrooms, underbrush and loamy soil notes intermixed with hints of black raspberry, cherry and blueberry are followed by a full-bodied wine with 15% natural alcohol and great intensity, making for a prodigious Pinot Noir that should age gracefully for 10-15 years. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this magnum of 2001 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (98JD, 98RP, 97JS, 96WE, 95VN, 95W&S, 93CG). Wine Advocate: "Still a young wine at age 12, the 2001 Insignia exhibits a dense purple color along with a sweet bouquet of camphor, blackberries, cassis, incense and spring flowers. Full-bodied, rich and heady with sweet tannin, stunning concentration and a fabulous finish, this remarkable Insignia has 25 or more years of life ahead of it. (RP) 98+" (11/2013)
Current Bid: $454.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 G.B. Burlotto "Monvigliero" Barolo (98KO, 97JD, 96RP, 96VN, 94JG, 93WE). Kerin O'Keefe: "The 2018 Barolo Monvigliero from Comm. G.B. Burlotto is absolutely stunning, proving that even in a challenging vintage like 2018, co-owner and winemaker Fabio Alessandria can make sublime, age-worthy wines. It’s fragrant, with classic varietal aromas of fragrant blue flower, red berry, camphor, dark spice and underbrush while the smooth, delicious palate features raspberry compote, ripe cherry, and licorice accompanied by polished tannins. Fresh acidity offers youthful tension. " (07/2022)
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Angélus, St-Émilion (99RP, 98JA, 96WS, 95DC, 95JS). Wine Advocate: "Medium garnet-brick in color, the 2000 Angélus comes galloping out of the glass with a powerful nose of fragrant earth, damp soil, iron ore and cigar box over a core of prunes, blackberry jam and dried mulberries. Medium-bodied, the palate is elegantly styled with great freshness and loads of earth and mineral-inspired layers, framed by grainy tannins, finishing with a lingering menthol lift. It is in a sweet spot for drinking right now, although it should go on for another 15-20 years. (LPB)" (10/2020)
Current Bid: $1,025.00

Current Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Next Of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard #11" Central Coast Red Blend (100JD, 97RP, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Pure perfection, the 2017 No 11 comes all from the estate Cumulus Vineyard around the estate in Oak View and is 48% Syrah, 24.8% Grenache, 12.7% Mourvèdre, 10.6% Petite Sirah, and the balance a mix of white varieties including Petit Manseng and Roussanne. Fermented with 23% whole clusters and aged 32 months in 68% new French oak, this incredible 2017 boasts a saturated purple hue to go with full-bodied aromas and flavors of ripe blackberries, bouquet garni, ground pepper, white chocolate, and cured meats. Incredibly complex, flawlessly balanced, and with a seamless texture that needs to be tasted to be believed, this is a magical blend from California that can be drunk today with incredible pleasure or cellared for 15-20 years. Hats off to the Krankl family for another truly special wine!" (08/2020)
Current Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne (97JS, 96DC, 96JM, 96WS, 95IWR, 94JG, 94VN, 93RP, 92BH, 92W&S). James Suckling: "This is a DP that shows the ripeness of the 2009 vintage yet remains full of energy. Gorgeous aromas of cream, apple, mango, honeysuckle, and chalk follow through to a full body and super fine, tight texture. Dense and agile. Vinous. It’s like a top grand cru white Burgundy. Think Bâtard-Montrachet. More depth than the 2006. " (07/2017)
Current Bid: $181.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Kosta Browne Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir (93DC, 93JS). James Suckling: "A tight and focused palate with linear tannin and firmness. Granite and hints of spice. Medium-bodied, fresh and salty. Very typical. Focused. " (09/2022)
Current Bid: $146.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Domaine Bruno Clair Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru ((93-95BH), (93-95RP), (93-95VN), 94DC). Vinous: "(the estate made 34 hectoliters per hectare as its vines in Bonnes-Mares escaped frost damage): Healthy medium red. Powerfully aromatic nose combines a sexy medicinal note with an inviting musky, fleshy quality that I did not find in any other of the estate's '16s. Robust, chewy and deep on the palate, offering mouthfilling flavors of black raspberry, cherry liqueur, earth and spices. This very powerful, soil-driven wine spreads out horizontally on the very long back end, saturating the palate with serious but fine tannins. I suspect this will need at least a decade of bottle aging to approach its peak. (ST)" (01/2018)
Current Bid: $285.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2019 Cobb "Cole Ranch Vineyard" Mendocino County Riesling, 1-bottle of 2020 Cobb "Vonarburg Vineyard" Anderson Valley Riesling, and 2-bottles of 2021 Cobb "Vonarburg Vineyard" Anderson Valley Riesling.
Current Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Gérard Boulay "Monts Damnés" Sancerre.
Current Bid: $80.00

Bid on this bottle of 1974 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac . Lynch Bages is an undisputed star of Bordeaux, indeed of the world of wine as a whole. With a price to match its reputation. The 2005, for example, is about $100, and it won't be drinking really well for decades. This mature Lynch Bages is therefore a terrific value, and just the ticket for a birthday or anniversary bottle.
Current Bid: $245.00

Bid on this bottle of 2021 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JS, 98JD, 98VN). James Suckling: "Blackcurrant with lime skin and ink pot in the nose. Very perfumed. Lead pencil. Full-bodied with chewy yet rounded edges to the tannins. Juicy and tannically dry. Reminds me of old BV Private Reserve from the 1960s. " (12/2023)
Current Bid: $301.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 94VN, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2013 M. Etain Cabernet Sauvignon, which is hardly a second wine by any means, offers beautiful blackcurrant fruit with some cedar wood/sandalwood notes, an opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel, stunning purity, and that layered texture that is so enticing. The wine has a beautiful opaque purple color, hints of graphite, blueberry and blackberry fruit, a touch of licorice and the soil undertones that some would say are part of the so-called 'Rutherford dust' scenario, although that's debatable. This wine has the sweetness and opulence to be drunk young, but won't hit its prime for at least another 5-8 years and keep for 20-30. (RP)" (12/2015)
Current Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 La Rioja Alta "904" Gran Reserva Rioja (96JS, 95DC, 95JG, 94RP, 94VN, 94W&S, 92WS). James Suckling: "Lovely dried red fruit, such as plums with just a hint of prunes. Cedar, walnut and leather undertones. Full-bodied with lots of fruit, considering its age, as well as hints of smoke, tobacco, bark and black tea. Some balsamic at the finish. Traditionally styled with lovely results. " (10/2020)
Current Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1970 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac (96WS, 95JA, 94VN, 93RP) and 1-bottle of 1971 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac. Of the 1970 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac, Wine Spectator writes: "Deep garnet; fragrant tar and black truffle nose; extremely concentrated; big and mouth-filling, with very dense cassis flavor; enormous, generous fruit; a voluptuous claret." (05/1993)
Starting Bid: $520.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Malescot-St-Exupéry, Margaux (97IWR, 95JS, 95RP, 94JA, (92-94WE), 94WS, 93ST). Int'l Wine Review: "The 2010 Château Malescot St. Exupery is a total gem. THis instantly begins to impress with its gorgeous aromatics of ripe blackberries and currants woven together with tobacco, espresso, fresh flowers all emerging form the glass. On the palate this possesses a gorgeous rich texture and well structured with velvety tannins that provide plenty of support. It shows remarkable depth and concentration with a beautifully polished finish. While this is already extremely impressive it will without doubt go on to have a wonderful long future ahead. A classic vintage for Malescot St. Exupery. (JD)" (01/2017)
Current Bid: $405.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2021 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend.
Current Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Peter Michael "Point Rouge" Knights Valley Chardonnay (100JD, 100RP, 96VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2017 Chardonnay Point Rouge slowly releases scents of candied ginger and citrus peel before being coaxed into giving up loads of savory suggestions of pie crust, shaved almonds and bread dough with a core of peach preserves, honey-drizzled pears and lemon tart plus a hint of crème caramel. Medium to full-bodied, the satiny palate possesses bags of poise and finesse with softly spoken freshness and loads of savory/toasty layers, finishing long with compelling mineral notes coming through. Already a WOW wine, I can't wait to see this after 3-4 years in bottle. 270 cases were made. (LPB)" (02/2020)
Current Bid: $775.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 2013 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Springs" Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel (3L) (95VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Petite Sirah Lytton Estate is oddly enough quite civilized and even a touch tame by Petite standards. There is plenty of inky blue/black-fleshed fruit but the tannins are surprisingly soft. Game, smoke and a hint of tobacco add nuance through the mid-palate and finish. The 2013 is a beautiful wine, but readers expecting a full-on Petite experience might be slightly disappointed, as this is an especially tamed Petite with varietal character that has largely been subdued. (AG)" (07/2015)
Current Bid: $206.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2020 Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay Auckland (1.5L) (95JS, 94BC, 91VN). James Suckling: Intense and complex chardonnay with lemons and peaches, as well as pastry and fresh cream. The palate is stacked with ripe-peach flavor and fresher, citrus tones and has complex, layered texture. Classy wine. Drink now. (07/2021)
Current Bid: $86.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (98JS, 98RP, 96VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay Eastside Vineyard exudes butterscotch, allspice, baked pears and peach preserves with tantalizing honeycomb, salted caramel and popcorn hints. This rich, full-bodied powerhouse fills the palate with decadent, spicy stone fruit, marked by a refreshing line of acid and finishing with lingering wet pebble and savory hints. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Current Bid: $285.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2011 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret (94CG, 94RP, 93VN) and 2-bottles of 2011 Pride Mountain "Vintner's Select Cuvée" Sonoma County Merlot (91RP, 91VN, 90WE). Of the 2011 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret, Wine Advocate writes: "A dense plum/purple color is followed by wonderful notes of cedarwood, tobacco leaf, Christmas fruitcake, blackcurrants and black cherries. (RP)" (10/2014)
Current Bid: $160.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Giacomo Conterno "Cascina Francia" Barolo (96RP, 94JS, 94ST, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Barolo Cascina Francia is an unusual version of this benchmark wine. In 2007 Conterno decided against bottling his Monfortino. Conterno believes Nebbiolo can handle rain and humidity (hence his decision to make Monfortino in rainy years such as 1987 and 2002), but not drought. The result is a Cascina Francia that is unusually dark, rich and powerful. The floral, herbal notes that are typical in young Cascina Francia have been replaced by deeper notes of tar, smoke and licorice to match the layers of intense dark fruit. The 2007 is powerful and imposing from start to finish. It is going to be a fascinating Barolo to follow over the coming years and decades. (AG) 96+" (10/2011)
Current Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2012 Turley "Estate" Napa Valley Petite Syrah ((91-93RP), 92ST, 92VN, 92WS), 1-bottle of 2012 Turley "Pesenti" Paso Robles Petite Syrah ((96-100RP), 95VN, 95WS), and 1-bottle of 2012 Turley "Rattlesnake Ridge" Howell Mountain Petite Syrah (97VN, (94-96RP), 93WS). Of the 2012 Turley "Pesenti" Paso Robles Petite Syrah, Wine Advocate writes: "Flirting with perfection, the 2012 Petite Syrah Hayne Vineyard and 2012 Petite Syrah Pesenti Vineyard both have off-the-charts richness as well as opaque black/blue colors, enormously concentrated red, blue and black fruits intermixed with camphor and creosote notes. (RP)" (12/2013)
Current Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Kistler "Dutton Ranch" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (96RP, 95JS, 95WS, 94JD). Wine Advocate: "The 2020 Chardonnay Dutton Ranch is a powerhouse! Gregarious baked apples, apricot and tangerine peel are accented with touches of dried herbs and flint on the nose, and the full-bodied palate stuns with its ultra-concentrated fruit. It offers an expansive, satiny texture, youthful touches of spring butter, oak spice and refreshing, tangy acidity that balances the very long, flavorful finish. It's a near-foil to its shimmery, lifted 2019 counterpart and just as beautiful—which one you like best will just depend on the style of California Chardonnay you enjoy most! (EB)" (07/2022)
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Linne Calodo "Rising Tides" Paso Robles Rhone Blend (93ST, 92RP, 92VN). Int'l Wine Cellar: "Vivid ruby-red. Explosive, appealing scents and flavors of ripe cherry, candied raspberry and Asian spices; really showing its grenache component today. A perfumed floral nuance comes up with air and carries through a very long, spicy, sharply focused finish. As sexy as this wine is right now, I suspect it will be even better with a couple years in the cellar. (JR)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Kosta Browne Meursault (92DC, 92JS). James Suckling: "Crushed stone and sliced green apple with lime undertones. Medium body. Crisp acidity. Clean and crunchy. Typical for the appellation." (09/2022)
Current Bid: $145.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Colgin "Tychson Hill" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100RP, 98JD, 98JS, 97VN, 96WS, 95DC) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "The “home” vineyard of Ann Colgin and Joe Wender, Tychson Hill has emerged as one of St. Helena/Napa’s most singular, evocative vineyards. Only about six acres in total, sloped and with a northern aspect, the major section of the vineyard was planted in 1997 to heritage clones of Cabernet Sauvignon with a smaller section planted in 2014.Deep purple-black colored, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill Vineyard comes skipping out of the glass with bright, vibrant scents of black and red cherries, boysenberries and wild blueberries, plus suggestions of violets, dark chocolate, licorice and fertile loam.(LPB)" (10/2021)
Current Bid: $1,135.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Harlan Estate "The Maiden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 97JS, 95JD, 94RP, 94TWI, 94VN) in original wood. James Suckling: "Very aromatic, with subtle raw-grape, currant and citrus aromas that follow to a medium to full body with very fine, silky and polished tannins. Solid acidity and fine-tannin energy at the end. The second wine of Harlan. Outstanding length." (03/2022)
Current Bid: $745.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Tusk Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Tusk Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced primarily from Oakville and Prichard Hill with amounts of fruit from several other sub-appellations throughout Napa Valley. Current Bid: $960.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Bevan "EE Cuvée" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 95WS, 94VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Proprietary Red EE is composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Cabernet Franc from two vineyard sources in Oakville, the Tench and Tin Box. This virtually perfect wine exhibits an opaque purple color along with notes of incense, camphor, blueberry and blackberry liqueur, licorice, barbecue smoke and spring flowers. Full-bodied with silky tannin and a finish that lasts nearly 60 seconds, there are 400 cases of this gorgeous 2012. (RP)" (10/2014)
Current Bid: $146.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Realm "Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97VN, 96DC, 95RP, 94JS). Vinous: "The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard is dark, sumptuous and inviting, with no hard edges, stunning balance and tons of sheer allure. Silky contours make it one of the most accessible wines in the lineup of 2019s. Here the fruit profile tends towards the more blue/purplish end of the spectrum. Bittersweet chocolate, cloves and lavender add gravitas. The 2019 is positively stellar. The blend is 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petite Sirah. A drop in Petite Sirah and increasing age in the replanted Cabernet at Bourn yielded a wine that is quite suave and sumptuous compared to its predecessors. (AG)" (08/2021)
Current Bid: $370.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2003 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (97JS, 96JA, 96JD, 96WS, 95RP, 94WE, 93ST, 92VN) and 1-bottle of 2004 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien (95JA, 95JS, 95WE, 95WS, 94DC, 93JD, 93RP). Of the 2003 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien, James Suckling writes: "This is more exotic and monstrous than the 2000. It is like a muscle builder, with lots of round and rich tannins and a core of dark fruits like black cherries and blueberries. Still very young, but structured and in need of five more years. " (05/2012)
Current Bid: $305.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2009 Tablas Creek "Panoplie" Paso Robles Rhône Red (96JD, 95ST, 95VN, 92RP), 1-bottle of 2010 Tablas Creek "Panoplie" Paso Robles Rhône Blend ((94-96JD), 95RP, 94ST), 1-bottle of 2011 Tablas Creek "Panoplie" Paso Robles Rhône Blend ((95-97JD), 96RP, 94ST, 94VN), and 1-bottle of 2012 Tablas Creek "Panoplie" Paso Robles Rhône Blend ((94-96VN), 93RP). Of the 2011 Tablas Creek "Panoplie" Paso Robles Rhône Blend, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Possessing the same meatiness that can be found in the Esprit de Beaucastel, the 2011 Tablas Creek Esprit de Beaucastel Panoplie looks to be a stunning 2011! Inky colored, dense, and layered, this blend of 60% Mourvèdre, 30% Grenache, and 10% Syrah delivers top-notch aromas of roasted meats, crushed violets, spice, and beautifully pure blackberry styled fruits that lead to a full-bodied, structured, textured, and long wine. " (06/2012)
Current Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1966 Giscours, Margaux (95VN). Vinous: "The 1966 Giscours is a wine I have drunk twice or three times before, though never from magnum. This was a golden age for the estate. It has a classic nose for a 1966 Left Bank: black fruit, freshly rolled tobacco, antique bureau and maybe just a hint of curry leaf. Still fresh and unashamedly conservative in style, the palate is beautifully balanced with fine weight and density. It has lost its florality, perhaps now a little more delicate than I recall, yet tremendous in terms of length with veins of blue fruit toward the finish. Utterly divine. (NM)" (12/2023)
Current Bid: $454.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2022 Williams Selyem "Saitone Estate Vineyard" Russian River Valley Carignan and 1-bottle of 2023 Williams Selyem "Papera Vineyard" Russian River Valley Zinfandel. Of the 2022 Williams Selyem "Saitone Estate Vineyard" Russian River Valley Carignan, Williams Selyem Winery began as a simple dream between two friends, Ed Selyem and Burt Williams, who pursued weekend winemaking as a hobby in 1979 in a garage in Forestville, California, and made their first commercial vintage in 1981. As friends, they decided to make a go of winemaking together in a two-car garage on River Road. The concrete pad outside held the small dairy tanks that they used as fermenters. The rest is history!
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this magnum of 2011 Giuseppe Rinaldi "Tre Tine" Barolo (1.5L) (95KO, 94WS, 93DC, 93VN, 92RP). Kerin O'Keefe: "Mature dark berry, cake spice, baked earth, leather and a whiff of game are just some of the aromas you’ll find on this impressive wine. The chewy palate offers ripe black cherry, crushed raspberry, cinnamon, white pepper and aromatic herb alongside a backbone of firm, ripe tannins and racy acidity." (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (100JS, 100RP, 100VN, 99JD, 97DC, 96WE, 96WS). Vinous: "In my last sighted review of the 2016 Cos d’Estournel, I wrote: "I suspect it will close down for a period in its youth." Perhaps it is already beginning to shut down, because though this wine was deeply impressive, it fell just a notch short of ethereal previous bottles, despite its "pixelated black fruit" on the nose and "sublime balance" on the palate. I tasted the wine twice thereafter, though this time with a 4-6 hour decant, and this revealed the Cos d'Estournel that has amazed since I first tasted it out of barrel. (NM)" (08/2020)
Current Bid: $1,250.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Aubert "Larry Hyde & Sons Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay ((96-98RP), 94VN, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Larry Hyde & Sons (1, 000 cases) comes from a 4-acre vineyard that produces nearly 1, 000 cases. The straw color reveals a greenish hue, and the wine bursts from the glass with notes of exotic fruits, wet stones, limes and white peaches. It has a kinship to a great Coche-Dury Corton-Charlemagne. (RP)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2003 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 91ST) and 2-bottles of 2003 Chateau Montelena Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90RP, 90WE). Of the 2003 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Advocate writes: "A big wine from the Barrett family (14.2% alcohol), this 2003 exhibits earthy black currant fruit, the restrained but intense Montelena style, full body, good richness and impeccable balance, purity and density. The color is a healthy dark ruby/purple and the wine shows lots of cassis. In spite of the restrained aromatics, the palate is rich, full-bodied, substantial and persuasive. This is a heritage wine from this great estate in northern Napa Valley. (RP) 94+" (06/2013)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Corison "Kronos Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JG, 95DC, 95VN, 94JS, 93CG). John Gilman: "I had not tasted the 2012 Kronos Vineyard from Cathy Corison since its release in the spring of 2015 and was very happy that it was in our lineup at the winery in September. I loved this wine out of the blocks and it was showing brilliant potential at the winery, soaring from the glass in a beautiful, young aromatic blend of red and black cherries, a touch of eucalyptus, Rutherford dust, tobacco leaf and a very suave base of new wood. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and nascently complex, with a lovely core of sappy fruit, great focus and grip, fine-grained tannins and exquisite balance on the very, very long and refined finish. This is, of course, still a very young wine, but it will be one of the defining wines of Cathy’s illustrious career when all is said and done!" (05/2017)
Current Bid: $460.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Hourglass "Blueline Vineyard" Napa Valley Merlot (93WE, 92JD, 92RP, 91VN, 91WS). Wine Enthusiast: "So rich it tastes like chocolate, this ambitious and lavishly oak-influenced wine pulls out all the stops to achieve maximum flavor impact. It smells full of baking spices and savory herbs, tastes very ripe, concentrated and feels lush and creamy in texture. While full bodied, it has plenty of firm acidity and lots of fine tannins to stand up to all that flavor. It’s ready to enjoy now through 2020. *Editors' Choice* (JG)" (09/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1989 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac (99JS, 97RP, 96VN, 95JA, 95JG, 95WS, 94ST). James Suckling: "This is glossy and sophisticated, with so much graphite, ink, pencil shavings, blackberries, blackcurrants and blackberry leaves on the nose. Classy and powerful with very sleek tannins. Dark chocolate and blackcurrants. So long and deep. Drink or hold." (01/2023)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 94DC, 93CG, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is still an infant. Plush and deep, the 2009 offers a compelling mix of opulent fruit and huge tannins to match. Today, it is a bit rough around the edges. A few more years in bottle should help, although I don’t see the 2009 quite reaching the heights of the very best years here. (AG)" (12/2024)

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat Chambolle-Musigny ((90-92RP), (88-91BH), (89-91VN), 90JG). Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny Village, from the usual 11 parcels, has a tightly controlled red cherry and crushed strawberry bouquet with veins of dried rose petal. The palate is crisp on the entry with grainy tannin, beautifully balanced with a poised, winsome finish and a saline aftertaste. It eschews the usual heaviness that can pervade Chambolle premier crus this vintage with a sense of precision. This comes recommended. (NM)" (12/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien (96RP, 95JS, 95WS, 94DC, 93JA). Wine Advocate: "The spectacular 2003 Leoville Poyferre exhibits a dense purple color with a touch of lightening at the edge as well as notes of creosote, barbecue smoke, jammy black currants, licorice and spice box. This intense, voluptuously textured, full-bodied St.-Julien possesses low acidity and ripe tannin. (RP)" (08/2014)
