Produced from a single Santa Rita Hills vineyard source[Kessler Haak Vineyard] that is made up of three different French Dijon Clones, the extraordinary quality of this Pinot is a statement and perfect illustration of just how well those French clones are doing in the Coastal, cooler areas of California (and the Willamette Valley in Oregon). Medium deep ruby in color, the noses gushes forth with lush raspberry to cherry-like fruit aromas underscored by a spicy, cola, and mild toasty tone. This Gem is amazingly balanced and integrated, yet broad and deep without being over-the-top, shows excellent structure and acid backbone, and finishes with a long bright, fleshy feel. This Pinot will continue to improve for the next five to seven years, but don’t be afraid to pop a cork tomorrow night if you want a wine to go with leg of lamb dinner. I have been informed by Rusty that I need to bring home at least one case, if not more, of this Gem, ASAP. 14.5% ABV

A man walks into a bar and says, "Give me the best Pinot Noir you have". The bartender quickly retorts, "Why, that's the 2013 Brewer Clifton, straight from the Kessler Haak vineyard in St. Rita Hills."
Not a very good joke, but a truly PHENOMENAL wine. Medium-bodied and chock-full of alluring red fruit, vanilla, cola and perfectly balanced spice, this is a Pinot for those craving something a bit MORE. Simply delicious!

Succulent and seamless, this Pinot is silky & rich with ripe red berries and soft savory earth. The finish is long, lingering and mouthwatering.

Fans of Santa Rita Pinot Noir will love this wine. This unique blend from the Kessler Haak vineyard is loaded with red fruits, Asian spice and cola notes. The texture is lush and round in the mouth while the finish is supple and smooth. Even though this Pinot Noir is still very young it is drinking great right now and should develop even more complexity with some extra time in the bottle. A very cool wine to serve friends as it is a unique item that can only be found at K&L!

Bright, forward, yet sweetly seductive, this K&L Barrel selection Pinot Noir delivers all the goods! Not as candied as the typical Brewer Clifton Pinots tend to be, yet still shows the same intensity of red fruits. The aromatics burst out of the glass and the palate is full of juicy, bright fruit, acid, and seamless texture. This is amazing to drink now or put away for a few years! Such a Thanksgiving classic!

One of the best wines I've had from Brewer-Clifton, slightly more reserved, less of the opulent fruit and more complexity. This wine has superb balance, great length and makes a bold statement of flavor, just not over-ripe! Great to drink now, this might end up on my Thanksgiving table for those Pinot lovers.
