2016 Raul Perez ''Atalier'' Albariño Rias Baixas

SKU #1347020

Raul Perez, born into a vine growing family in the village of Valtuille (El Bierzo), is the single most important winemaking and terroir hunting figure in Spain. This is no overstatement. From Ribeira Sacra to Gredos garnacha, Perez' influence has touched many of the country's top winemakers as well as an important number of more recently emerging D.O regions. This Albariño shows the saline and bright, acid forward qualities of the grape when grown in Rias Baixas, but also the rich, satisfying textural elements from Raul's expressive winemaking. Highly recommended Albariño!
