1863 Blandy's Malmsey Solera Madeira

SKU #1321339

The Blandy family is one of the original founders of the Madeira wine trade, with roots tracing back to 1811, and is the only family to still own and manage its own original company. Thanks to this consistency, you can count on Blandy's old bottles of Madeira, the slowest-maturing and longest-lived wine in the world, to be in excellent condition. According the the producer, their older Malmseys exhibit the following characteristics: "Rich, smooth and luscious on the palate, showing complex notes of moka, dried fruit and honey, hints of tropical fruit, butterscotch, toffee-nuts and marmalade."
