SKU #1320838

We are throwing our annual fall Champagne Tent Event on Sunday, October 22nd in San Francisco at our Harrison Street location from 2:00-5:00pm. A group of our favorite artisanal grower/producers will be flying in from France to present their wines exclusively to K&L guests. Producers include Aspasie, Baron Fuente, Le Brun de Neuville and Louise Brison. This is a rare opportunity to engage with the people that grow the grapes and make the wine and to learn more about their approach to Champagne. We will also have many of the big name producers on hand to present their selections. From the big houses we will have representatives from Louis Roederer, Billecart-Salmon, Laurent Perrier, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Champagne Drappier and more. For $95 per person plus tax you will be able to sample more than 60 Champagnes plus enjoy small bites. A portion of the proceeds with go to support Table of Plenty (TOP) a small, Half Moon Bay charity that is committed to serving a Thursday evening dinner for struggling families, elders, homeless and hungry on the coastside.

Champagne

- The French region of Champagne (comprised of the towns of Rheims, Epernay, and Ay) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and winemaking traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range from the basic brut (often blends of several vintages), single vintage champagnes, and rose. View our bestselling Champagne.
