2014 Rodrigo Mendes "Sálvora" Albariño Rias Baixas (Previously $50)

SKU #1298629

Rodri Mendes is one of the top producers in Rias Baixas. Known for his relatively rich, but balanced and expressive Albariño's, his wines are always highly sought after in the best wine shops and restaurants in Spain. This particular bottling is produced from vines dating to 1905, located in the Salnes valley village of Meaño, just a bit inland from Cambados. This wine shows big stone fruit flavors with lively acidity, particularly for the vintage. Rich, long, bright and impressive Albariño!
