2014 Château Viranel "Tradition" Saint-Chinian Rouge (Previously $13)

SKU #1297382 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

A big, rich, plump St Chinian, the 2014 St Chinian Tradition checks in as a mix of 40% each of Syrah and Grenache, with the balance Carignan and Mourvèdre. Its deep ruby/purple tinged color is followed by a forward, rich, concentrated red that has lots of chocolaty raspberry fruits, spice and a touch of peppery herbs. It's a rock solid, deliciously drinkable effort that sells for a song. (JD) (4/2017)

This is dark, juicy and mouth-filling with notes of spice, earth and raspberry and plum fruit. Here is a food friendly and easy to drink super bargain.
