2012 Bodegas Máximo Abete Nava Senero Graciano Navarra (Previously $25)

SKU #1295680

Bodegas Máximo Abete is a family winery currently run by the two daughters of the original founder. Located in San Martín de Unx, the winery brings in Graciano grapes grown at nearly 3,000 feet from a friend in the neighboring village of Navasentero. This has Graciano's hallmark, explosive purple fruit aromas, with a freshness and immediacy that almost seem to suggest freshly fermenting grapes. On the palate, there are blackberries, damsons, and fresh violet, with the 20 months ageing in French oak barrels helping to round out and add complexity to the rich fruit.
