Augier "Le Sauvage" Cognac (750ml)

SKU #1274307

Augier is quite probably the very first Cognac house, started by wine merchant Philippe Augier in 1643. Since 2013, it's been in the hands of Pernod Ricard, who seeks to make a Cognac as true to the original style of this historic house as possible by focusing on grape and terroir. Imbibe magazine said, "This is cognac for geeks. But it’s also cognac for people who want to taste cognac made with different varieties, or with different types of distillation." (10/2015) Le Sauvage is made from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in the chalky soils of Petite Champagne. It's complex with stone fruit notes and a nice hint of spice.
