These single casks from Belle Meade are always top notch. They spend a lot of time and effort identifying the choicest barrels and we've had great success with some of our own. At full strength you get a heads mix of sweet dense oak spice and maple drizzled stone fruit. With a tiny sliver of ice the big vanilla notes start to come out and the spicy backbone falls to the background. Voluptuous and satisfying, there are very few cask strength bourbons that match Belle Meade in terms of price to quality ratio.

- When people consider domestic wine, they normally think about the state of California. The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality. But there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon, Washington and New York are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world.
