1986 Darroze Domaine de Barigos Bas-Armagnac (750ml)

SKU #1264557

Darroze has arguably done more for the Armagnac category than any other single producer. They made their name by sourcing incredible single-vintage cask-strength Armagnac from all of Bas-Armagnac's small grower-producers. This micro-negociant has some of the best stocks of brandy anywhere in Armagnac, with high-quality offerings going back nearly a century from various top producers. The Domaine de Barigos was created by M. Delhoste, whose cellar was so impressive that Darroze bought his entire inventory in 2014. The grapes were grown on 60-year-old vines in tawny sand soil. They have aged beautifully to become truly fine armagnacs.
