Fresh, focused, and elegant, the 2014 Domaine Henri Boillot Bougogne Blanc is a delicious blend of bees wax, stonefruit and white pepper on the nose. The palate beautifully integrates a silky, creamy texture with lifted fruit flavors of lime and yellow orchard fruit. Elegant and refreshing, this is a pure pleasure to sip. Super recommended!

After tasting this wine, I felt compelled to write a review. The 2014 Henri Boillot Bourgogne Blanc is a classic example of how pretty this vintage can be. A nice bouquet of stone fruit and soft wood first welcomes you. A medium bodied white with a creamy rich texture, filled with Meyer lemon, honey, ginger and a touch of flint. This would be outstanding with roasted chicken and creamy cheeses.

- It's hard to believe that up until about 30 years ago, this extremely popular varietal hid behind the veil of geographical names like Chablis and Puligny-Montrachet. Now grown all over the world and bottled by its varietal name, Chardonnay has achieved a level of branding unlike any other wine.
