The Libertine Pub "Coffeetine" Foudre Aged Golden Sour w/ Coffee Beans, California (750ml)

SKU #1263581

From the brewery: "Coffeetine is an expression of aroma. By utilizing our house golden base beer aged in our 30 barrel foeder and then steeping it with Ethiopian whole coffee beans roasted by our friends at Honey Co. Roasters in San Luis Obispo, we have created an aromatic explosion. Hazy and light in color this beer will fool you. The coffee aroma explodes from the glass and then gives way to a citrus acidity as you sip. The combination of the coffee aroma and citrus zest flavor create an extremely unique one of a kind beer showcasing the aroma of coffee instead of the flavor and making you rethink coffee as an ingredient completely. We will be working with Honey Co. Roasters on other vintages released throughout the year using different types of coffee from different areas of the world. Very limited batch sizes to ensure the highest quality of coffee we use."

- When people consider domestic wine, they normally think about the state of California. The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality. But there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon, Washington and New York are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world. - With the explosive growth that California's wine industry has seen the past several years, it's easy to view winemaking and grape growing in the Golden State as a recent phenomenon. And while it's true that California's viticultural history is brief compared to several European countries, this state's roots date back well over 200 years. Due to the enormous response to California wine within the United States and worldwide, there are thousands of excellent and diverse wines being produced within the state each year.
