Park 18 Year Old "Lot 18" K&L Exclusive Single Barrel #332 Cask Strength Borderies Cognac (750ml)

SKU #1256417

The Tessendier Family is BACK with another set of incredible single casks selected from their revered Cellar No 8. Only the very finest and most elegant eau-de-vie are aged in this special cellar and K&L was lucky enough to have access to some of the family's most special single casks. This cask of Borderies is taken exclusively from the personal domain of the Tessendier family and represents some of the family's most prized stock. A massive contrast from the other two casks, we have big orange citrus aromas coupled with more French oak influence than the Fins Bois. Very aromatic, with notes of dried flowers, fresh baking spices, dark cocoa, and a subtle mossy forest floor note. At full strength (97 proof) the big citrus note pulls all the way through on the palate. Almost like a completely dry Grand Marnier, the bold spice turns up on the finish too. With a tiny drop of water, the subtle floral and dark woodsy notes become more prominent. The perfect little dry style Borderies built for real connoisseurs of this special growing region.

This exclusive Cognac opens with a soft fruity nose that has hints of citrus and spice in it. Smooth warm butterscotch notes and stone fruit are rounded by the oak and deepened by a rich layer of cocoa and caramel. The finish is dry with a touch of wood and lingering spice.
