2015 Filipa Pato "FP" Branco Beiras

SKU #1254198

Filipa Pato, daughter of Luis, took the knowledge she learned from her iconoclastic father, and is applying towards making excellent wines in her own right in the same region. This blend of Bical and Arinto shows lovely peach and a somewhat nutty/honeyed flavors that finish dry, not unlike good Chenin Blanc. What separates this wine from many other similarly priced efforts is the texture - it is elegant and when combined with the wine's persistence makes for a delicious white for the money.
