Altesses (aka Roussette) has a little richer body and structure than its local sibling Jacquere. More rich yellow apple notes with white peach and nectarine notes. Even a little honeyed persimmon on the palate rounds out the fruit. Be sure there is clear mineral tones with wonderful vibrant acid. When I visited this property last year, all I could say was, "I can't wait for the 2014 to get to the US." And now it's here. Don't miss it.
