2014 Morgadío Albariño Rias Baixas

SKU #1231684 90 points Wine Enthusiast

Lightly briny aromas of sea foam blend nicely with crisp apple and mineral scents. This is focused on the palate, with a core of acidity and minerality that are the wine’s foundation. Apple, orange, mango and melon flavors end clean and minerally. (12/2015)

Wine Spectator

This juicy white offers bright, crisp flavors of grapefruit, tart peach and tarragon, with floral and mineral notes. The acidity is fresh and gives the wine focus. (11/2015)

Morgadio makes a wonderful Albariño, always delicious, full of crunchy fruit flavors, lip smacking acidity and lovely minerality. 2014 is another fine vintage, and fortunately for all of us, at a very friendly price due to the strong dollar. A fine choice for Dungeness crab and oysters!
