2005 Cap de Faugères, Cotes de Castillon (1.5L)

SKU #1230581 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

With delicious blackberry and cassis fruit, the lofty alcohol (14.5%) of this 2005 is not the least bit noticeable, but demonstrates the ripeness achieved at this property, now owned by the proprietor of the famous Lalique crystal. The wine is dense purple, rich, medium to full-bodied and powerful, with loads of minerality and depth. (RP) (6/2015)

Wine Spectator

A juicy, full-bodied red, with clean blackberry and chocolate aromas and flavors. Very fruity and well-balanced. Tempting now. (3/2008)
