Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon (750ml) (Ships as a 1.5L)

SKU #1039896 92 points Wine Enthusiast

This blended Bourbon starts smooth and sweet, with sasparilla and maple sugar, then explodes with bold cassia, cinnamon and cayenne razzle-dazzle. (7/2013)

Whisky Advocate

A soft, delicate bourbon -- especially when compared to its single barrel siblings here. Subtle notes of candied fruit and creamy sweet notes (vanilla, coconut, light toffee, and caramel corn) are nicely interwoven. Some integrated, gently-dried spice dances throughout and lingers on the finish. An easy-to-embrace bourbon with nice balance. (Vol. 16, #4)

K&L Notes

Named American Whiskey Distiller of the Year 2010, 2011 by Whisky Magazine. From Master Distiller, Jim Rutledge: "Mingling, or blending, of multiple Bourbon flavors is an art in itself. Four Roses small batch is comprised of four of the ten distinctively different bourbon flavors Four Roses distills and matures separately each year. Within the four flavors the barrels we use for small batch are super selected to generate another great Four Roses sipping Bourbon. Enjoy some mellow moments with some friends and sip small batch neat, or you might want to improve the taste of a few ice cubes."

The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality.
