Deep, bright ruby. Alluring aromas of dark berries, coffee, truffle and smoky oak. Plush, pliant and sweet, with a liqueur-like quality to its black fruit flavors that's nicely counterpointed by harmonious ripe acidity. At once generous and juicy on the mid-palate. Not hugely complex today, and a touch warm on the finish, but this concentrated, ripely tannic wine will evolve further in the bottle.
Led by an interesting mix of black plums, sweet oak and rocky soil smells in the nose and following through with deep, solidly varietal fruit flavors, this big and impressively stuffed youngster hits all the right Cabernet marks and has the structure to grow appreciably better with time.

Substantial in size, this '04 emphasizes red fruit flavor that manages to retain balance and freshness on a grand scale. A meaty, crowd-pleasing Cabernet to enjoy with equally huge lamb chops.
