Cyber Monday Spectacular - 35% Discount on a Limited Production Rosé Champagne - 11/27/2017 - Champagne

Nowhere else will you find such a super sharp price on an estate produced, grower Champagne. Previously we had the Christian Busin Brut Rosé Champagne at $40, but we were able to take the price all the way down to a mind-bogglingly low $24.99. That’s a savings of over $15! True Champagne for under $30 is a rarity; one for under $25 is practically unheard of. But the price is only part of the story here, as this bottle of bubbly is one of more impressive rosés we’ve had in recent memory. From estate grown fruit from Grand Cru vineyards, it shows off all the best aspects of the terroir of Montagne de Reims. Joining flavors of wild strawberries, orchard fruit, and freshly baked biscuits, it is equal parts refreshing and engagingly complex. The Busin Rosé is a great bottle to have on hand for the holidays, but given how utterly delicious it is, you’ll want to enjoy it year-round. Anyone who loves a perfectly composed bottle of bubbles will want to give this delight a spin. Given the price, a case purchase is strongly recommended.

Christian Busin Brut Rosé Champagne (Previously $40) ($24.99)

Situated in the Grand Cru appellation of Verzenay, Christian Busin is a small grower-producer hand-crafting classic Champagnes true to Montagne de Reims terroir. The majority of their holdings are Pinot Noir with a little Chardonnay. The rosé is a classic assemblage rosé with a pale salmon hue, notes of strawberry, melon with an alluring hint of biscuit. Perfect for a celebratory toast or apéritif.

Recently, here at K and L, we've received a few unbelievable values in the Champagne department: small production producer/growers making Champagnes that are of the highest quality and rarity here in the states. One of my favorites as of late is the Christian Busin Brut Rosé, which is comprised of mostly Verzenay Grand Cru fruit, predominately Pinot Noir, from the '09 vintage. This wine offers delicate aromas of strawberry and cherry, with a palate that manages to simultaneously be big and creamy, yet chalky and dry.

This is one of the finest deals in rosé Champagne that K&L has ever had. This entirely estate-grown Champagne is based on 2009, and composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. It gets its color from Verzenay Pinot Noir that is made into red wine. This is full bodied, complex, rich rosé with a ton of power. If you like characterful, yet well balanced rosé, this is a must at the price.
